  • Redmi Note 13 5G – The phone features a 6.67-inch AMOLED display, which has a resolution of Full HD+ and a refresh rate of 120Hz. The brightness peaks out at 1000 nits, and it is a 10-bit panel that is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 5.
  • Redmi Note 13 Pro 5G – For the first time in Redmi Notes, the company has bumped the resolution to 1.5K. The panel still is measured at 6.67-inch, and refresh rate of 120Hz. The display goes up to 1800 nits in peak brightness, boasts a 5,000,000:1 contrast ratio, 100% DCI-P3 colour gamut, and is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass Victus. The display features 1920Hz high-frequency PWM dimming, another first in Redmi Note phones. This is a flat display.
  • Redmi Note 13 Pro Plus 5G – While Redmi Note 13 Pro 5G features a flat display, Redmi Note 13 Pro Plus 5G features a curved display, with all the same specs and dimensions. It is a 6.67-inch AMOLED panel with a 120Hz refresh rate and a resolution of 1.5K. The display also features a peak brightness of 1800, a 5,000,000:1 contrast ratio, a 100% DCI-P3 colour gamut, and is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass Victus. It also has the high-frequency 1920Hz PWM dimming feature.

Redmi Note 13 5G features a decent display for the price. But Redmi Note 13 Pro 5G and Redmi Note 13 Pro Plus 5G blow it out of the water with the display features and specs, with the introduction of a higher display resolution, inclusion of PWM dimming, Corning Gorilla Glass Victus protection and more. Then there’s the choice between a flat display and a curved display with Redmi Note 13 Pro 5G and Redmi Note 13 Pro Plus 5G.

  • Redmi Note 13 Pro Plus 5G – This phone features Mediatek Dimensity 7200 Ultra SoC, a variant of the chipset found in the likes of iQOO Z7 Pro, Vivo V27 and Vivo T2 Pro.

Redmi Note 13 5G’s Mediatek Dimensity 6080 SoC is a decent choice for price. Nothing extraordinary, but just decent for the price, when we factor in the competitors in the segment.

Redmi Note 13 Pro 5G and Redmi Note 13 Pro Plus 5G are good performers in the segment and you can’t go wrong with either of these for performance.

  • Redmi Note 13 Pro 5G & Redmi Note 13 Pro Plus 5G – The primary camera sensor in these two phones is the 200 MP Samsung ISOCELL HP3. It is paired up with a 7P lens in both phones and the two phones support OIS. The secondary cameras are 8 MP ultrawide and 2 MP macro. On the front, the phone has a 16 MP camera.

Redmi Note 13 5G’s camera setup is average at best, as it only features a single effective camera.

Redmi Note 13 Pro 5G and Redmi Note 13 Pro Plus 5G have a good camera setup, even though the secondary cameras leave us begging for more.

With this iteration, the prices of the Redmi Note have breached the Rs 30,000 barrier with the prices starting from Rs 32,999 for the Redmi Note 13 Pro Plus 5G. Redmi Note 13 Pro 5G on the other hand starts at Rs 25,999.

Redmi Note 13 5G is a good choice for the price it is offered in.

Comparing the Redmi Note 13 Pro Plus 5G and Redmi Note 13 Pro 5G, the question of “Do I need to spend so much for the Pro Plus, when I can get almost all of it in Pro” rings in my head. Redmi Note 13 Pro 5G offers the same cameras, almost the same display, battery and more at a much lower cost than Redmi Note 13 Pro Plus 5G. Redmi Note 13 Pro 5G would be the better choice for you if you’re okay with a flat display and slightly slower charging speeds.

Redmi Note 13 Pro Plus 5G on the other hand offers a curved display, a better-performing chipset, super fast charging and an IP68 rating for water and dust resistance. If you’re on the lookout for all these features, Redmi Note 13 Pro Plus 5G would be the better choice for you.
