Samsung is gearing up for the launch of new Galaxy A-series phones. The company will launch the Galaxy A34 5G and the Galaxy A54 5G in India. The Samsung Galaxy A34 5G will sit above the Galaxy A23 5G, which was launched earlier this year in India. Samsung has not revealed many details about the phone other than confirming the launch date. However, some key details about the upcoming Samsung phone have leaked in the past.
A new leak has now revealed the key specifications of the upcoming Galaxy A34 5G days before its launch. The leaked details include the marketing materials of the phone, which reveal the design. The Samsung Galaxy A34 5G will launch in India on March 16. Ahead of the launch, the phone’s specifications and design have leaked online. According to the images uploaded by tipster Snoopy Tech, the upcoming Galaxy A34 5G will launch in four colour options — Green, Purple, Black and Gradient Silver. The phone has a triple rear camera setup. The camera system design is similar to the Galaxy S23, with three circular cutouts placed below one other. The LED flash module is placed next to the camera sensors.
On the front, the phone has a waterdrop notch at the top centre for the front camera. While the side and top bezels are fairly narrow, the chin bezel is slightly thick. On the right edge of the phone are the power and volume buttons. The frame is slightly curved, whereas the rear panel is flat.
The leaked images confirm that the Galaxy A34 5G will have some form of water protection. As per leaked details, the phone will have an IP67 rating for water and dust resistance.
The marketing images also confirm that the Galaxy A34 5G will have a 13MP front camera inside the waterdrop notch. On the back, there is a 48MP main camera with support for optical image stabilisation. The rear camera setup also includes an 8MP f/2.2 ultra-wide camera and a 5MP macro camera with an f/2.4 aperture.
Other details about the phone have leaked in the past. The phone is said to pack a 5000mAh battery and offer 25W fast charging support. However, the charger is unlikely to be packed inside the box. The Galaxy A34 5G is also said to feature a 6.6-inch sAMOLED display with a Full HD+ resolution. There is support for a 120Hz refresh rate as well. It is also tipped to feature a MediaTek Dimensity 1080 SoC.
