Samsung has finally launched the Samsung Galaxy A51 smartphone in India. The company’s revamped Galaxy A series of smartphones has proven profitable in India, and Samsung appears to be capitalising on the success. The Samsung Galaxy A51 is priced at Rs. 23,999 for the 6GB/128GB storage variant. The company has only launched a single variant in India. The device comes in three colour options – Blue, White, and Black Prism Crush. Speaking of the sales, the Samsung Galaxy A51 will go on its first sale on January 31. Samsung is offering a 5 percent cash back to the customers who buy the device using Amazon Pay. Furthermore, the company is providing a one-time free screen replacement option on the purchase of the device. Last, but certainly not the least, one gets a pair of headphones alongside the Samsung Galaxy A51, something which is not too common in the modern-day smartphones.

Samsung Galaxy A51: Specifications and Features

Starting things off with the processor, the Samsung Galaxy A51 is powered with the company’s in-house Exynos 9611 chipset, which is coupled with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of onboard storage. For software, the Samsung Galaxy A51 utilises the latest Android 10 OS out of the box with One UI 2.0 skin baked on top of it. A 4,000mAh battery keeps the lights of the device on and is capable of 15W fast charging. Moving on to the display of the device, the Samsung Galaxy A51 sports a 6.5-inch Super AMOLED FHD+ display with a resolution of 1080 x 2400 pixels and a 20:9 aspect ratio. The display is protected by a Gorilla Glass on the front. The rear, however, is made of plastic.

In the camera department, the Samsung Galaxy A51 features a quad camera setup at the back – 48MP primary sensor with f/2.0 aperture, 12MP ultra-wide lens with f/2.2 aperture, 5MP macro lens with f/2.4 aperture, and 5MP depth sensor. The night mode found on the Samsung Galaxy A51 works in the ultra-wide mode as well. For selfies, the Samsung Galaxy A51 utilizes a 32MP shooter which comes with f/2.2 aperture. The handset can record 4K videos at 30fps. Other features include an under-display fingerprint scanner and a 3.5mm headphone jack.
