A new Galaxy A-series smartphone appears to be in the works as a new smartphone with model number SM-A526B has made an appearance on the Geekbench database. This is the first instance when SM-A526B has surfaced on the web. Going by the model number, it appears to be the upcoming Samsung Galaxy A52, successor to one of the most popular Android devices worldwide – Galaxy A51. The Geekbench listing reveals the presence of an octa-core processor with the code name ‘lito’, 6GB RAM, and Adreno 619 graphics.

In the Geekbench 5 test, Samsung SM-A526B managed to scored 298 in the single-core test, and 1001 in the multicore test. The listing further reveals that the upcoming Samsung handset will be powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon processor with a 1.80GHz base frequency and code name ‘lito’. Connecting the dots together, it appears that the upcoming Samsung Galaxy A52 will be equipped with Qualcomm Snapdragon 750G SoC. To those unaware, the Snapdragon 750G is fabbed on Samsung’s 8nm process and brings 5G connectivity to the table.
