The Samsung Galaxy A51 carries the model number SM-A515 and has the same processor under the hood as the Samsung Galaxy A71 — the Exynos 9630 chipset. The Exynos 9630 features an octa-core processor with a Mali GPU and is a descendant of the Exynos 9610 seen on last year’s Samsung Galaxy A50. This chipset is based on an 8nm manufacturing process. The Samsung Galaxy A51 comes in two versions — a base version with 4GB RAM and 64GB storage and a pricier 6GB RAM model that offers 128GB of memory. And yes, you do get expandable memory options, allowing you to add up to 1TB of additional storage, so you can rest assured that you will be able to save all your photos and music on this phone. The Samsung Galaxy A51 offers dual SIM capability in India and is available in color options like Black, Silver, and Blue.

The Samsung Galaxy A51 packs a large 6.5-inch Super AMOLED display with an aspect ratio of 19.5:9 and a resolution of 1080x2340 pixels. The display lives up to Samsung’s reputation and is a strong USP for this device. The Samsung Galaxy A51 comes with the familiar OneUI from Samsung which is based on the Android 10 operating system. This screen sports the familiar water drop shaped notch at the top to house the selfie camera. As for camera specs, we now find an improved 48MP primary camera with an f/2.0 aperture, an ultra-wide-angle camera with a resolution of 12 megapixels and, of course, the 5MP depth sensor. As for selfies, the Galaxy A51 offers you a 32-megapixel front-facing camera with portrait and beauty modes.

Connectivity options on the A51 include Wi-Fi b/g/n/ac, Bluetooth 5.0, A-GPS,GLONASS, GALILEO, BDS etc.The dual SIM Samsung Galaxy A51 is a VoLTE capable device with support for Indian 4G LTE bands. The phone also features support for 20W fast charging via its USB Type-C port. Like last year’s A50, the battery on the Galaxy A51 stands at 4,000mAh.The great news is that the A51 still packs a 3.5mm headphone jack so you can use your traditional earphones conveniently.
