Samsung has unveiled the Galaxy A52 and the Galaxy A72. The two Samsung Galaxy A-series smartphones were unveiled at the Galaxy Awesome Unpacked event. Samsung has launched the Galaxy A52 in 4G and 5G variants. The Galaxy A72, on the other hand, comes with 4G network support only. Both smartphones come with a 64MP quad-camera setup on the back. The Galaxy A72 comes with a telephoto camera with 3x optical zoom. The devices also come with an IP67 rating for water and dust resistance. They come in four colours – Awesome White, Awesome Blue, Awesome Black, and Awesome Purple. Let’s take a look at the Samsung Galaxy A52, Galaxy A72 specifications, features, and other details.

Samsung Galaxy A52, Galaxy A72 launched at the Galaxy Awesome Unpacked Event 

Samsung has unveiled the Samsung Galaxy A52 and Galaxy A72 at the Galaxy Awesome Unpacked. The two smartphones come with features like a quad-camera setup, IP67 rating, etc.

Samsung Galaxy A52 price 

Right now, only the international prices of the smartphones are out. The Galaxy A52 comes in 4G and 5G variants. The 4G variant with 6GB + 128GB storage has been launched for 350 EUR (roughly Rs 22,868). There’s also an 8GB + 128GB variant.

Samsung Galaxy A52 5G also comes in two storage configurations with 6GB and 8GB RAM. The Samsung Galaxy A52 5G starts at 430 EUR (roughly Rs 37,184)

Samsung Galaxy A72 price 

The Galaxy A72 price is set at EUR 450 (roughly Rs 38,913) for the entry variant with 6GB + 128GB variant.

Samsung Galaxy A52, A52 5G specifications 

The Galaxy A52 comes in 4G and 5G variants. The major differences between the two variants lie in display and performance departments. The Galaxy A52 4G comes with a 90Hz refresh rate whereas the Galaxy A52 5G will come with a 120Hz refresh rate display. Both variants come with a 6.5-inch display. There is a tiny hole-punch cutout on the top-centre, which Samsung calls the Infinity-O display. This cutout houses the 32MP front camera setup.

The Galaxy A52 comes with a quad-camera setup on the back. There is a 64MP primary camera sensor and a 12MP ultrawide sensor. The camera module also houses a 5MP depth camera and a 5MP macro camera sensor.

Under the hood, the Galaxy A52 packs a 4,500 mAh battery with support for 25W fast charging. The 4G variant comes with an unannounced octa core processor, whereas the 5G variant also packs an octa-core processor but with a 5G modem. According to SamMobile, the LTE variant of the Galaxy A52 rocks the Snapdragon 720G SoC, while the 5G variant is powered by the Snapdragon 750G.

It comes with up to 8GB of RAM and 128GB of internal memory. Storage can be further expanded up to 1TB via a microSD card.

It comes with stereo speakers and an IP67 rating for water and dust resistance.

Samsung Galaxy A72 specifications 

The Galaxy A72 features a 6.7-inch Full HD+ AMOLED display with a 90Hz refresh rate. Like the Galaxy A52, the Infinity-O display houses the 32MP front camera inside the punch-hole.

Under the hood, the phone comes with a 5,000 mAh battery with 25W fast charging support. The phone packs an unannounced octa-core SoC with up to 8GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage. You can increase the storage by up to 1TB using a microSD card. The same SamMobile report states the chipset used is the Snapdragon 720G, same as the Galaxy A52 4G.

On the back is a quad-camera setup. It has a 64MP primary camera, an 8MP ultrawide sensor and a 5MP macro camera. The Galaxy A72 comes with an 8MP telephoto camera with 3x optical zoom and OIS.

It comes with stereo speakers and an IP67 rating for water and dust resistance.

The device runs on Android 11-based OneUI 3.0 out of the box.
