Now, the same handset has appeared on the Bluetooth SIG listing, implying that its launch is imminent. The Bluetooth SIG listing however doesn’t reveal any specifications of this upcoming handset, but it does showcase the model number and Bluetooth version the phone will be coming with. Samsung Galaxy A82 5G Gets Bluetooth Certified

The Galaxy A82 5G carries the model number as the SM-A826S in the Bluetooth SIG database. This model number does match with the one that we spotted on the Geekbench benchmark last week. The phone appears to be coming with Bluetooth 5.0 support as revealed in the listing. If we go by the Geekbench results, the Galaxy A82 5G might pack Snapdragon 855+ SoC, which is a two-year-old chipset.

The device had managed to score 755 and 2,630 points in the single-core and multi-core test results at Geekbench. The phone might ship with 6GB of RAM if we go by the Geekbench listing. On the software front, the Galaxy A82 5G is said to boot Android 11 out of the box with Samsung’s One UI 3.0.

It is believed that the Galaxy A82 will come in multiple variants, depending on certain nations and their operators.
