The year 2024 is just around the corner, and Samsung is gearing up for its big launch, where the South Korean conglomerate will introduce its latest flagships, the Galaxy S24 lineup. Since AI is the buzzword, there are rumours that the forthcoming flagship lineup from Samsung will have a big focus on AI stuff. Well, not only smartphones, but it looks like the company is also pushing AI to their peripheral devices. A recent report suggests that Samsung will introduce live language translation in their upcoming Galaxy Buds 3 Pro TWS.

According to South Korea’s Maeil Business Newspaper report, the Galaxy Buds 3 Pro may include an interpreter capability. It is said to provide real-time translation. While language translation features in earbuds are not unique, the Galaxy Buds 3 Pro is expected to break new ground.

What distinguishes them is their capacity to offer seamless conversation in multiple languages without requiring internet connectivity. This represents a paradigm shift in artificial intelligence, with the earbuds processing voice data locally and in real-time. This not only provides speedier translation but also addresses privacy issues.

According to the translated article, “the risk of personal conversations being exposed to the outside world can be eliminated during the data transfer process.” It suggests that the era of a single wireless earphone serving as a full-fledged ‘interpreter for our ears’ is rapidly approaching.”
