Samsung is yet to announce the device’s official launch date. However, more details of the upcoming Galaxy smartphone have leaked online. Samsung is gearing up for the Galaxy F22 launch in India. Ahead of the official launch, the device is listed on the Google Play Console website. The listing reveals many key details of the new Samsung phone. It has the model number SM-E225F and also confirms the Galaxy F22 moniker. The device is confirmed to feature a MediaTek MT6769T SoC, which is the MediaTek Helio G80 SoC. It has two ARM Cortex-A75 cores clocked at 2.0GHz and six ARM Cortex-A55 cores clocked at 1.8GHz. The SoC is paired with Mali G52 GPU under the hood. The variant listed on the Google Play Supported Devices website has 4GB of RAM. It runs Android 11 out of the box. As expected, the phone will launch with a layer of OneUI 3.0 on top of the Android mobile operating system.

The device will have an HD+ resolution of 720 x 1339. Going by Samsung’s track record, the device could launch as a rebadged Galaxy A22 4G. The Galaxy F22 has appeared in a certification, which mentions both Galaxy A22 and Galaxy F22 to be the same device. It confirms that the device features Bluetooth 5.0 with LE.

If true, the Galaxy F22 will feature a 6.4-inch AMOLED HD+ display with a 90Hz refresh rate support. It will have a water-drop notch on top for the front camera.
