Samsung has launched a new Galaxy M series smartphone in India. The company has launched the Galaxy M14 5G as its new budget smartphone in the country. The device is currently the most affordable 5G smartphone in India under the Galaxy M series. Samsung has launched the Galaxy M14 5G with a massive battery under the hood along with a 5nm SoC, which is the only one in its price segment.

The Samsung Galaxy M14 5G has been launched in India with two storage options. The base model of the phone packs 4GB of RAM. It offers 128GB of internal storage and is priced at Rs. 13,490. There is a 6GB + 128GB storage option as well, which is priced at Rs. 14,990. The price is inclusive of the bank discount offer. The Galaxy M14 5G will be available from April 21. It has been launched in Smoky Teal, Icy Silver and Berry Blue colour options.
In terms of hardware, the phone features a polycarbonate body. It has a curved frame with power and volume buttons on the right edge. The phone does feature a 3.5mm headphone jack. It also sports a water-drop notch at the top for the front camera.
The Galaxy M14 5G sports a tall 6.6-inch Full HD+ IPS LCD. The screen has support for up to a 90Hz refresh rate. It also has a layer of Corning Gorilla Glass 5 on top for added protection against drops and scratches. The tiny notch at the top houses a 13MP front camera sensor.
On the back, the Galaxy M14 5G has a triple-camera setup. It features a 50MP main camera sensor with an f/1.8 aperture. There is also a 2MP depth camera sensor and a 2MP macro shooter.
Under the hood, the phone features a 5nm Exynos 1330 processor with Mali G68 GPU. There is support for storage expansion via a microSD card. The Galaxy M14 5G also offers virtual RAM support of up to 6GB.
The device packs a beefy 6000mAh battery, which is the biggest in the segment. It also supports 25W fast charging. However, there is no charger in the box. Samsung claims that the phone can offer up to 2 days of battery life on a single charge. The device also comes with as many as 13 5G bands in India, which should provide support for all major telecom operators in India.
In terms of software, the Galaxy M14 5G has been launched with the latest Android 13 update. It has a layer of One UI 5 on top. It is promised to get two major Android updates.
