Samsung Galaxy M55 5G Spotted on Geekbench Running Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 SoC and 8GB RAM Ahead of Launch

It seems like the South Korean conglomerate is gearing up to expand its M series lineup, which is one of the most popular series out there. The team at MySmartPrice has spotted the Galaxy M55 5G on the Geekbench 4 database with the SM-M556B model number.

The smartphone scored 3575 in the single-core test and 11330 in the multicore test. It also confirms the presence of 8GB of RAM and Android 14. However, do keep in mind that Geekbench scores tend to change based on their versions.

Just to recall, the Galaxy M55 5G will succeed the Galaxy M54 5G, which was launched in March of this year. It features a 6.7-inch Super AMOLED 120Hz display with Corning Gorilla Glass 5. Under the hood, it draws power from the Exynos 1380 chipset paired with 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage. It runs on the Android 13-based One UI 5.1 out of the box.

Regarding optics, the smartphone features 108MP + 8MP + 2MP triple rear cameras, and it can shoot 4K video at 30fps and 1080p videos at up to 60fps. On the front, it features a 32MP selfie camera. It has all the required sensors like fingerprint (side-mounted), accelerometer, gyro, proximity, and compass.

Moreover, the Galaxy M series has always been focusing on bigger battery capacities, and the Galaxy M54 5G is no different. It comes with a massive 6,000mAh battery and supports 25W wired charging. The device comes in Dark Blue and Silver colourways.
