Samsung Galaxy S21 FE is all set to be relaunched in India if the latest reports are to be believed. According to a Twitter user @tarunvats33, the chaebol will soon relaunch the popular Samsung Galaxy S21 FE in India. Notably, the new variant will flaunt the Snapdragon 888 SoC. Samsung already has the Exynos 2100 variant of the Fan Edition on sale in India, starting at Rs 32,999 in the country. Samsung Galaxy S21 FE to Get Snapdragon 888 SoC in India

As mentioned before, tipster Tarun Vats has claimed on Twitter that the South Korean brand is all set to launch the Samsung Galaxy S21 FE in India, this time with the Snapdragon 888 chipset. According to the tweet, the new smartphone will launch in India in July, priced around Rs 40,000. Apart from the pricing and processor, we can expect the other smartphone specifications to remain the same.

Another tweet from Anvin (@zionsanvin) has revealed the BIS listing of the Snapdragon 888 variant of the Samsung Galaxy S21 FE. The Indian regulatory listing confirms that the smartphone is nearing its launch in India. The model number listed on the BIS website is SM-G990B2/DS.

Yet another popular tipster, Abhishek Yadav has recently claimed that the Galaxy S21 FE Snapdragon 888 variant will launch in the next 10 days. Yadav also shared leaked promo materials revealing that the smartphone will come in Navy Blue colour and 256GB storage.

Notably, both Exynos 2100 and Snapdragon 888 SoC are fabricated on a 5nm process. These processors have a cluster of eight CPU cores, including Cortex-X1, Cortex-A78, and Cortex-A55. The GPU on both chipsets differs – Adreno 660 graphics on Snapdragon 888 and Mali-G78 MP14 on Exynos 2100 SoC. The Snapdragon unit is said to be snappier and more efficient in terms of battery.

Coming to the specs, the smartphone features a 6.4-inch full-HD+ Dynamic AMOLED 2X display. The display offers a refresh rate of 120Hz, Corning Gorilla Glass Victus protection, and up to 240Hz touch sampling rate. For cameras, the phone offers a triple 12MP + 12MP + 8Mp setup on the rear panel and a 32MP selfie camera. It boots OneUI 5 based on Android 13 and is powered by a 4,500mAh battery. The Exynos variant has 8GB RAM and 128GB or 256GB storage. It remains to be seen what RAM configurations are offered for the Snapdragon 888 variant.
