Samsung Galaxy S22 Series With 25W Fast Charging Support Clears 3C Certification

Samsung is gearing up for the launch of the Galaxy S22 series smartphones. The upcoming Galaxy S22 lineup is tipped to consist of three devices namely the vanilla Galaxy S22, Galaxy S22 Plus and the Galaxy S22 Ultra. We already have seen renders of these smartphones courtesy of several leaks from the last few days. Additionally, the Galaxy S22 and the S22 Plus smartphones were spotted at Geekbench a few weeks back. The Geekbench listing had revealed the possible hardware specifications of these phones prior to the launch. Now, the Galaxy S22 series smartphones have received the 3C certification in China. The 3C listing reveals the model number and confirms the charging capability of these handsets ahead of the official launch.

Samsung Galaxy S22, S22 Plus, S22 Ultra Receives 3C Certification

According to the 3C certification listing, we can see that all the three Galaxy S22 series devices will have 25W fast charging support and 5G connectivity. These smartphones have appeared on the 3C certification website with model numbers as SM-S9010, SM-S9060, and SM-S9080 respectively. Other than the charging capability and model number, the 3C certification doesn’t disclose any other details of these handsets. The past leak suggest us that the Galaxy S22 will feature a 6.06-inch Super AMOLED Infinity-O display. Under the hood, the device is expected to be powered by Snapdragon 898 SoC, while in some markets the smartphone is supposed to launch with Exynos 2200 chipset.

In terms of the imaging department, the S22 is tipped to feature a triple-camera setup which is supposed to include 50MP, 12MP, and 10MP camera sensors. Coming to the S22 Plus specifications, this particular device is said to sport a 6.5-inch AMOLED display. The device might feature a triple-camera setup which might consist of a 50MP GN5 sensor, a 12MP ultrawide lens, and a 12MP telephoto lens. As far as the specifications of the S22 Ultra model go, it might debut with a taller 6.8-inch AMOLED display. The display panel is supposed to offer 120Hz higher refresh rate. The smartphone is rumoured to feature a quad-camera setup.
