Samsung has officially launched its Galaxy S24 series, which includes the Samsung Galaxy S24, Samsung Galaxy S24 Plus, and Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra, at the Galaxy Unpacked 2024 event in San Jose, California. This is a global launch event, and the India prices and exact sale dates should be revealed soon.

The latest Samsung flagships come with top-notch specifications, with Snapdragon Gen 3 for the Plus and Ultra variants and Exynos 2400 SoC for the base Galaxy S24 model. But this time, Samsung is adding an extra oomph factor with what it calls ‘Galaxy AI’ features. These are a host of generative AI-powered features on flagship phones that improve photo editing, productivity, etc.

Below are the pricing of all variants of the Samsung Galaxy S24, S24+, and S24 Ultra in India. The company is offering benefits worth Rs 22,000 on pre-booking Galaxy S24+ and Galaxy S24 Ultra. Those pre-booking Galaxy S24 will get benefits worth Rs 15,000.

Customers pre-booking the Ultra and Plus variants are eligible for an upgrade bonus of Rs 12,000 along with a Rs 10,000 storage upgrade where they can book a 256GB variant and get a 512GB model. Those opting for the Galaxy S24 will get Rs 15,000 upgrade bonus. HDFC Bank users will get additionally Rs 5,000 cashback.

Samsung has announced that pre-booking of the Samsung Galaxy S24 series will start on January 18 across leading online and offline retail stores in India. Those pre-booking any of the three models will get a free Wireless Charger Duo worth Rs 4,999.

One of the biggest focuses of Samsung this time around is the new ‘Galaxy AI’. These features harness the power of generative AI to make life easier for customers.

For one, Samsung S24 users will now have the ability to edit out objects and place them at a different position in a photo with the help of generative AI. Samsung is also introducing the ability to auto-summarise a long document with the help of generative AI. It also uses AI to boost portrait shots taken at a distance, with users getting the ability to sharpen the person in focus as well as add blur in post-editing. There are features like AI Zoom, Nightography Zoom, 200MP High Resolution, AI Photo Edit, AI Gallery, AI HDR, AI Slow Motion and more.

Samsung has also introduced features like Interactive Search and AI Translate. The AI Live Translate is the first ever real-time 2-way translation on the native call app. Other assist features include Chat Assist, Note Assist (S-pen feature on S24 Ultra), Transcript Assist, and Browsing Assist. These smartphones can automatically summarise group messages and even allow you to circle around something you’re curious about and get quick information, using Google’s AI chops.

Further, the Galaxy S24 Ultra also features a Titanium body which is similar to what Apple had introduced with the iPhone 15 Pro series in 2023.
