MySmartPrice recently spotted the upcoming Galaxy S24 series smartphones, including the vanilla S24, Galaxy S24+ and Galaxy S24 Ultra smartphones in the 3C certification. Ice Universe, a well-known tipster, tipped the periscope and telephoto specifications of the Galaxy S24 Ultra smartphone. Another tipster shared the chipset, display, battery and other specifications of the upcoming smartphones.
Ice Universe has shared a new post on his official Weibo (a Chinese micro-blogging platform) account about the launch date of the upcoming Samsung Galaxy S24 series smartphones. The tipster hints that Samsung will debut the smartphones in the first month of 2024. Samsung used to debut its flagship Galaxy S series smartphones in an unpacked event in February.
The preponing of the launch to January will help Samsung to up the competition against Chinese flagship smartphones. OnePlus, Xiaomi, Vivo and other brands are tipped to debut their flagship smartphones with Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC by the end of 2023. Ice Universe further adds that Samsung will launch the Samsung Galaxy S24 series smartphones on January 18.
Samsung is expected to debut the smartphones worldwide and in the Indian market on the same day through an unpacked event. The recent 3C certification of the smartphones revealed that Samsung will continue to equip the upcoming smartphones with 45W wired fast charging tech. The South Korean giant is also reported to have ditched the 10x telephoto sensor to make way for a new 50MP 5x optical sensor.
