The Galaxy SmartTag 2 was previously spotted on the Bluetooth SIG website, which gave us on hint about the Unpacked 2023 launch, but that was not the case. Now, just a few days after the event, the Samsung Galaxy SmartTag 2 has been spotted on the FCC certification website in the US. The latest listing gives us live images of the product and a few more additional details. Let’s take a look at all the details below.

Samsung Galaxy SmartTag 2 Live Images on FCC

The upcoming and unannounced Samsung Galaxy SmartTag 2 has been spotted on the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) website with the EIT5600 model number. The moniker for the same has also been confirmed by the site. Firstly, the site provides us with live images of the upcoming tracker from Samsung as you can see from the gallery below. The first image shows off what seems to be an accessory (holder) to the SmartTag 2 (similar to the Apple key ring). Looks like this will act as a holder to the ring, but there is no confirmation on the same yet.

Further, the rest of the images give us a glimpse at the parts of the SmartTag 2, which reveals the model number of the device and also confirms the support for BLE (Bluetooth Low Energy) and UWB (Ultra-wide Band). Further, the documents offer us more details about SmartTag 2.

The device will come with a 3.0V power supply, FPCB antenna, and single channel. As for the frequency, Tag 2 will support both BLE and UBW, which is again confirmed by the documents. The documents also offer details about test reports, which do not provide more details. Based on the SIG listing, the device will come with Bluetooth 5.3.

The device is expected to launch soon in the global market and India launch might be on the cards as the company has previously launched its tracker in the country.
