Samsung Galaxy Tab A7 Lite Moniker Confirmed By Bluetooth SIG, Appears on 3C With 15W Fast Charging Support

Update: The Samsung Galaxy Tab A7 Lite has now been spotted on the 3C certification website. The certification reveals that the tablet will come with model number SM-T225C. It also reveals that the upcoming tablet will come with 15W fast charging support. That said, this is all we know from the 3C listing of the upcoming Galaxy Tab A7 Lite tablet.

Samsung is supposed to bring a more affordable version of the Galaxy Tab A7 and the Galaxy Tab S7, in the form of Galaxy Tab A7 Lite and the Galaxy Tab S7 Lite soon. These new tablets are expected to debut sometime in June 2021. Both the Galaxy Tab A7 Lite and S7 Lite are in the news for the last few weeks, as they were spotted in benchmark and few certifications earlier.

A few days ago, the Galaxy Tab A7 Lite was certified by the FCC, and was even spotted on TUV Rheinland certification. Now, the Galaxy Tab A7 Lite has gained the required Bluetooth SIG certification ahead of launch. Let’s check out details revealed by Bluetooth listing:

Galaxy Tab A7 Lite Gets Bluetooth SIG Certified

The Galaxy Tab A7 Lite Bluetooth SIG listing reveals the device’s model number as SM-T225. It even confirms that the tablet will have Bluetooth 5.0 support. The same model which has now appeared in the Bluetooth SIG listing was spotted on FCC certification a few days ago.

The FCC listing had revealed the design aspect of this upcoming tablet. It even had confirmed that the A7 Lite will have a 3.5mm headphone jack and a USB-C port. Additionally, this upcoming tablet had made its appearance on TUV Rheinland certification as mentioned above. The TUV certification had disclosed that the Galaxy Tab A7 Lite will make use of a 5100 mAh battery that will have a 15W fast-charging support.

If we go by the details revealed through the Geekbench listing earlier, this upcoming tablet might be powered by MediaTek’s Helio P22T SoC. It is said to pack 3GB RAM, and it might run Android 11 out of the box with Samsung’s own One UI 3.0.

The Galaxy Tab A7 Lite had managed to score 810 and 3,489 scores in the single and multi-core tests respectively in the Geekbench benchmark test. The tablet is rumoured to sport a 8.7-inch display. In terms of imaging, the Galaxy Tab A7 Lite might feature a single rear-facing camera, as revealed by FCC schematics.

As far as the details of the Galaxy Tab S7 Lite go, it is said to come with a 12.4-inch display. The Galaxy Tab S7 Lite is even rumoured to have Wi-Fi and 5G variants as well. An earlier report by SamMobile mentions that the Tab S7 Lite bears model numbers SM-T730, SM-T735, and SM-T736B / SM-T736N, respectively. The Galaxy Tab S7 Lite is rumored to pack a Snapdragon 750 processor which might be aided with 4GB of RAM, as revealed by Geekbench listing.
