Samsung Galaxy Tab S9 FE 5G Global Variant Spotted on FCC Certification Website, Could Debut Soon

We are aware that the South-Korean smartphone maker Samsung is prepping up for the launch of the Galaxy Tab S9 FE series tablets such as the Galaxy Tab S9 FE and the Galaxy Tab S9 FE+. The key specifications and renders of both these upcoming tablets had leaked in the past. Additionally, the Galaxy Tab S9 FE+ was spotted at FCC certification a few days back. That apart, Samsung also accidentally confirmed both these tablet monikers recently. Now, in a recent development, the Galaxy Tab S9 FE has received FCC certification.

Samsung Galaxy Tab S9 FE Will Support 25W Fast Charging

The FCC certification reveals the model number of the Galaxy Tab S9 FE 5G global version as SM-X516B. Furthermore, the tablet is being tested with a charger having model number EP-TA800. This does suggest that the tablet will support 25W fast charging. Apart from the model number and fast charging details, no other specification of the tablet is revealed by the FCC certification yet.

The previous leak suggests that the Galaxy Tab S9 will feature a 10.9-inch display. For imaging purpose, the tablet is expected to flaunt a single rear-facing camera. Furthermore, the tablet is also tipped to feature a side-mounted fingerprint sensor for security purpose. The device is also said to feature a smart connector as well as a dual-speaker audio system. Dimensions-wise, the Galaxy Tab S9 is tipped to measure around 254.3 x 165.8 x 6.7mm.

Under the hood, the tablet could be powered by Samsung’s in-house Exynos 1380 SoC. We can expect the Galaxy Tab S9 FE series to boot Android 13 out of the box with One UI 5.1 skin on top. As far as the specifications of the Galaxy Tab S9 FE+ go, it might boast a 12.4-inch display, a side-mounted fingerprint sensor, and a dual speaker. Furthermore, the Galaxy Tab S9 FE+ also could be powered by Exynos 1380 chipset.

Currently, the launch date of both these devices remains unknown. However, now both of them has received the FCC certification, and the monikers are also confirmed by the company, we can expect them to debut in the coming few weeks.
