Samsung is expected to launch the Galaxy Tab S9 series soon. The company might unveil three devices in the Galaxy Tab S9 series later this year. There will be the baseline Tab S9, on top of which would be the Tab S9+ and the Tab S9 Ultra. Samsung has not confirmed any details about the launch of its upcoming Galaxy Tab S9 series. However, it is likely that the Galaxy Tab S9 series will launch next month at Unpacked alongside the Galaxy Z Fold 5 and Flip 5. Ahead of the launch, the Samsung Galaxy Tab S9 Ultra has been spotted on Geekbench.

The top-of-the-line Samsung tablet will pack some powerful hardware under the hood for multi-tasking, productivity and gaming-related tasks. The Geekbench listing confirms the performance unit details ahead of the launch. Let’s take a look at the Samsung Galaxy Tab S9 Ultra specifications, features and other details revealed so far.

Samsung Galaxy Tab S9 Ultra Geekbench Listing Confirms Key Specifications

The Samsung Galaxy Tab S9 Ultra will launch as a premium Android tablet to take on Apple’s iPad Pro lineup. It is likely to launch next month. Ahead of the launch, the Galaxy Tab S9 Ultra’s processor, RAM and software details have leaked online. The Geekbench listing confirms that the Galaxy Tab S9 Ultra, which has the model number SM-X910, will feature a Qualcomm SoC codenamed kalama. The SoC has a peak clock speed of 3.36GHz for the prime core, whereas its four performance cores are clocked at 2.8GHz. The three efficiency cores are clocked at 2.02GHz. Yes, the clock speeds are similar to the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC for Galaxy, which is found in the Galaxy S23 series.

The Galaxy Tab S9 Ultra will feature the same SoC as the flagship Galaxy S23 series. The Geekbench listing also confirms that the Android tablet will pack at least 12GB of RAM. We can expect Samsung to launch the tablet with at least 256GB or 512GB of storage. The variant listed on Geekbench is the Wi-Fi-only variant. We can expect a 5G variant of the device to debut alongside.

In addition to the above details, the listing confirms that the tablet will boot Android 13 out of the box. As expected, the Galaxy Tab S9 Ultra will feature One UI 5.1 on top of Android.

Some other details about the Galaxy Tab S9 Ultra have leaked in the past. MySmartPrice had exclusively revealed the design renders of the flagship Samsung tablet. The Galaxy Tab S9 Ultra design renders has two circular cutouts on the back for the rear camera setup. It also has a vertical magnetic strip running below the camera cutouts for the S Pen.

On the front, the tablet has a wide notch on the longer bezel for the dual front camera setup. It is likely to sport a 14.6-inch AMOLED display with 2960 x 1848-pixel resolution. The tablet is also rumoured to offer an iP68 rating for water and dust resistance while packing an 11,200mAh battery. In addition to this, the Galaxy Tab S9 Ultra is likely to offer 45W fast charging support.
