Samsung is launched its latest foldable smartphones, Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 5 and Galaxy Z Flip 5, at Samsung Galaxy Unpacked. But Z Fold 5 and Z Flip 5 weren’t the only devices Samsung introduced at the Galaxy Unpacked event. Samsung also launched its Samsung Galaxy Tab S9 series of tablets and the Galaxy Watch 6 series.

Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 5

Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 5, the latest iteration of Samsung’s foldables, is here. The phone has a 7.6-inch AMOLED inner display and a 6.2-inch outer display. Both screens come with a 120Hz refresh rate and are said to be protected by Corning Gorilla Glass Victus 2. The displays are similarly sized as its predecessor, but the phone now closes flat without leaving any space in between!

The phone is powered by Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 for Galaxy, the customized version of Snapdragon 8 Gen 2, which we first saw with the Galaxy S23 series. Galaxy Z Fold 5 has up to 12GB of RAM and 1TB of internal storage.

The phone has a triple camera setup of 50MP primary, 10MP telephoto, and 12MP ultrawide. On the front, the phone uses a 10MP selfie shooter and a 4MP under-display selfie shooter on the inside.

The phone is backed up by a 4,400mAh battery and supports 25W wired charging, 15W wireless charging, and 4.5W reverse wireless charging.

Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 5

Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 5 has been refreshed with a bigger cover display, bringing many new functionalities to the cover display. The new cover display is a 3.4-inch AMOLED display, while the inner display remains similar at 6.7 inches. Both are AMOLED displays with 120Hz refresh rates, and the outer display is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass Victus 2.

The phone has a dual camera setup of 12 + 12MP and a 10MP front-facing camera. This phone is also powered by Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 for Galaxy like Galaxy Z Fold 5, and up to 12GB of RAM and 512GB of internal storage.

The phone is backed up by a 3700mAh battery, with support for 25W wired charging, 15W wireless charging, and 4.5W reverse wireless charging.

Samsung Galaxy Tab S9 Series

Samsung Galaxy Tab S9 series comes with – Samsung Galaxy Tab S9, Galaxy Tab S9 Plus, and Galaxy Tab S9 Ultra.

The tablets are powered by Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 for Galaxy SoC. All three tablets come with Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 for Galaxy chipset, S-Pen support, and IP68 rating for water and dust resistance.

The main difference between the tablets is their display sizes:

  • Samsung Galaxy Tab S9 – 11-inch AMOLED display with 120Hz refresh rate and 1600 x 2560 pixels resolution.
  • Samsung Galaxy Tab S9+ – 12.4-inch AMOLED display with 120Hz refresh rate and 1752 x 2800 pixels resolution.
  • Samsung Galaxy Tab S9 Ultra – 14.6-inch AMOLED display with 120Hz refresh rate and 1848 x 2960 pixels resolution.

Other differences include the difference in cameras. Galaxy Tab S9 has a single 12MP camera, while Galaxy Tab S9+ and Galaxy Tab S9 Ultra have a dual 12MP camera setup.

Samsung Galaxy Watch 6 Series

Samsung finally launched the successors to the Galaxy Watch 5 series at the Samsung Galaxy Unpacked event – Samsung Galaxy Watch 6 and Samsung Galaxy Watch 6 Classic.

Samsung Galaxy Watch 6 Classic finally brings back the rotating bezel – a main stay previously with Galaxy Watch devices, which wasn’t present in its predecessors. It comes in two sizes – 44mm and 40mm.

Galaxy Watch 6 doesn’t have a rotating bezel but comes with a thinner set of bezels, owing to the lack of rotating bezels. It comes in two sizes – 47mm and 43mm.

Both watches have a Super AMOLED display, full-color AOD support, and sapphire crystal screen protection. They’re powered by Exynos W930 chipset and have 2GB RAM and 16GB internal storage.
