Update: Tecno today has officially announced the pricing and availability details of the Tecno Megabook T1 laptop. This new laptop from Tecno will be available for purchase via Amazon from September 13 for early birds. The official sale of the laptop will begin from September 19. The Tecno Megabook T1 with Core i3 processor and 8GB of RAM retails for Rs 39,999, while the variant with Core i5 and Core i7 processor with 16GB of RAM is priced at Rs 47,999 and Rs 57,999.

Alongside unveiling the Tecno Pova 5 series smartphones such as the Tecno Pova 5 and the Tecno Pova 5 Pro in India, the company also has launched the Tecno Megabook T1 laptop in India today. The Megabook T1 was first introduced by Tecno at the IFA 2022 event. Speaking about the specifications, the newly unveiled Tecno Megabook T1 laptop comes with a 15.6-inch IPS display that has Full HD resolution and 350 nits brightness. The laptop is powered by Intel’s 11th Gen Core i7 processor which is paired with 16GB of RAM and 1TB of internal storage. The Megabook T1 has several connectivity features, a 3.5mm audio jack, and a 2MP webcam.
Tecno Megabook T1 Price In India, RAM And Storage Options
Currently, Tecno has not announced the Tecno Megabook T1 price in India. However, the company has confirmed the RAM and storage options which will be launching in the country. As per details shared by Tecno, the Megabook T1 will launch in 8GB RAM + 512GB storage configuration. This variant will be powered by Intel’s 11th Gen Core i3 processor. The other model will feature a Core i5 processor, 16GB of RAM and 512GB of internal storage. The variant with Core i7 processor will also debut in India which will ship with 16GB of RAM and 1TB of internal storage.
Tecno Megabook T1 Specifications, Features
The Tecno Megabook T1 boasts a 15.6-inch FHD display that has 350 nits brightness. The display panel has TUV Rheinland Eye Comfort certification, 100% coverage of the sRGB colour gamut, and adaptive DC dimming support. The laptop is powered by Intel’s 11th Gen Core i7 processor which is coupled with 16GB of RAM and 1TB of SSD storage. On the software side of things, the Megabook T1 runs Windows 11. Furthermore, the laptop also features a dual speaker with DTS Immersive Sound, as well as dual microphones with AI environment noise cancellation technology.
Connectivity-wise, the Megabook T1 has several features such as two USB 3.0 ports, one USB 3.1 port, two USB Type-C ports, a HDMI port, Wi-Fi 6, a 3.5mm audio jack, and a TF Card reader. The laptop also features a 2MP webcam and a fingerprint sensor. This new offering from Tecno measures 14.8mm in terms of thickness and weighs about 1.48kg. Last but not least, the laptop packs a 70Wh battery which can be charged by using a 65W charging adapter. The company claims that the Tecno Megabook T1 can last for 17.5 hours on a single charge.
