Vivo is reportedly in the works to launch a new 5G smartphone, dubbed the Vivo S7 5G. The Vivo S7 5G started popping up on the internet only a few days ago and is said to launch soon in China. While there is no official word from the company as to when the Vivo S7 5G will launch, the rumour mill is rife about the device and we now have almost all of its key specifications in the form of a leak. The Vivo S7 5G is said to feature a dual selfie camera setup with a 44MP primary lens. Vivo S7 5G specifications leaked ahead of official announcement
The leaked specifications of the Vivo S7 5G have come up courtesy of a post made on the Chinese microblogging website Weibo. As per the post, the Vivo S7 5G will be powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 765G processor. The device will weigh in at around 170 grams. Coming to the display of the device, the Vivo S7 5G is said to feature a display similar to that of the OPPO Reno 4. It also means that the Vivo S7 5G will come with an under-display fingerprint scanner.
In the photography department, the Vivo S7 5G is said to feature a dual punch-hole selfie camera, which will likely include a 44MP Samsung GH1 sensor and an 8MP Hynic Hi846 super wide-angle camera. At the back, the Vivo S7 5G will reportedly feature a 64MP Samsung GW1 sensor, which will be paired with an 8MP Hynix Hi846 super wide-angle sensor, and a 13MP Samsung portrait lens.
As far as pricing goes, the Vivo S7 5G is supposed to come in two memory variants – one with 8GB of RAM and 128GB internal storage, which will be priced at CNY 2,998 and one with 8GB of RAM and 256GB internal storage, which will be priced at CNY 3,298. One should keep in mind that these are expected prices, so it’s better if one takes with a slight grain of salt for now.
