Vivo recently teased the upcoming Vivo T2 5G series smartphones launch. The micro-site of the forthcoming smartphones also went live, confirming the Flipkart availability. The micro-site also revealed the design of the smartphones and hinted at the key specifications of the devices. Previously, MySmartPrice had revealed the specifications of the upcoming smartphones exclusively. The devices were also listed in Google Play Console, hinting that the launch is nearing. Vivo has officially revealed the launch of the upcoming Vivo T2 and T2x 5G smartphones in India. The company has also revealed the display specifications of the forthcoming smartphones. The listing also reveals the rear design of the smartphone in full glory.

Vivo T2 and T2x 5G Launch Date: Tipped Specifications

Vivo revealed that the launch date of the forthcoming smartphones is scheduled for 12 PM on April 11. The micro-site revealed that it would reveal the key specifications of the upcoming devices on April 5, 7 and 9. So, it was rumoured to launch on April 11, and a Google search result had revealed the launch date previously.

The company revealed the display specifications of the device, which is similar to the iQOO Z7 5G launched in India. The listing reveals that the Vivo T2 will sport an AMOLED display with a Full HD+ resolution. It also reveals that the display will have a peak brightness of 1300 nits, a contrast ratio of 6000000:1, and a touch sampling rate of 360Hz.

Vivo is likely to equip the display with a 90Hz refresh rate panel. The display on the Indian variant of iQOO Z7 5G supported a 90Hz refresh rate. The company will reveal the camera specifications on April 7 and the processor specifications on April 9. Vivo T2x will be the cheapest smartphone in the T2 5G series.

Vivo will likely price the smartphones under Rs 20,000, similar to iQOO Z7 5G. The micro-site listing revealed that the display would sport a waterdrop notch to house the selfie camera. Another image of the device confirms that the SIM card tray would be placed on the top along with the secondary microphone. The smartphone would be available on Flipkart, Vivo eStore and selected retail outlets.

The T2 would be equipped with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 695 5G chipset. The chipset would pair with 6 / 8GB of RAM and 128GB of storage. In the optics department, it will be equipped with a 64MP primary camera with OIS support. The smartphone would run on Funtouch OS 13 based on Android 13 out of the box. In contrast, the Vivo T2x will sport the MediaTek Dimensity 700 chipset.
