Vivo is gearing up to launch the Vivo V21 smartphone in the country. The smartphone was spotted on BIS certification earlier this week. A recent leak suggests that the V21 will make a debut on 27th April in the country. Ahead of the launch, some key specifications of the upcoming Vivo V21 have surfaced on the web, courtesy of Sudhansu. As per the details shared by Sudhanshu, the upcoming V21 will sport a MediaTek Dimensity processor with 5G capability. The upcoming Vivo smartphone will feature a triple-rear camera setup, similar to its predecessor. Let us take a detailed look at the leaked specifications of the Vivo V21.

Vivo V21: Specifications and Features

The upcoming Vivo smartphone will feature a display with a waterdrop notch. This should be an AMOLED panel with a FHD+ resolution. The smartphone will be powered by an octa-core MediaTek Dimensity 800U processor which is built on a 7nm fabrication process. The V21 will be the first V-series device to feature virtual RAM. We have already seen this implementation on Vivo devices such as Vivo X60 series devices. It will be the first V-series device to get a virtual RAM feature. The feature offers an additional 3GB RAM on top of the physical 8GB RAM.

The smartphone will feature a triple rear camera setup, similar to the Vivo V20. The primary sensor on the device will be a 64MP sensor with f/1.79 aperture, and Optical Image Stabilization support. This will be accompanied by an 8MP ultra-wide-angle lens, and a 2MP macro sensor, as tipped by Sudhanshu. The device will feature a 44MP front shooter with OIS support, and Eye Auto Focus.

Vivo says that the upcoming V21 will be the company’s slimmest device with 5G capabilities. The tipster claims that the device will not have a 3.5mm audio jack, which means that the users will have to rely on USB Type-C port for charging, as well as audio output. The V21 will boot Android 11 out of the box. The company is yet to announce the India launch date for the smartphone officially. The smartphone might carry a price tag of around Rs. 25,000 in the country. What do you think of the Vivo V21? Do let us know in the comments below.
