Vivo is prepping up for the launch of its next V-series smartphone, the Vivo V21e in the Indian market. The device had surfaced on Geekbench last month. The benchmarking platform had revealed the key hardware specifications of the device ahead of launch. Yesterday, the launch poster of the Vivo V21e 5G had also surfaced online. The smartphone is rumoured to launch in India within the next week. Now, in a recent development, Vivo had officially confirmed the launch date of the Vivo V21e as June 24th for the Indian market through a tweet posted on its official Twitter account. Vivo V21e 5G Pricing (Expected)
The Vivo V21e 5G is tipped to launch in India with 8GB of RAM and 128GB storage. The 4G variant of the V21e with Snapdragon 720G was launched in Malaysia for RM 1,299 (approx Rs 23,000). The V21e 5G which is launching in India is tipped to come with Dimensity 700 SoC. The Vivo V21e 5G price in India could be around Rs 25,000.

The Vivo V21e is expected to flaunt a 6.44-inch AMOLED display with FHD+ pixel resolution. As mentioned above, the phone is tipped to launch in India with Dimensity 700 SoC. These SoC details were revealed by the Geekbench listing earlier. The V21e 5G was even spotted with Dimensity 700 chipset at Google Play Console listing last month. The Google Play Console listing revealed that the V21e 5G will pack 8GB of RAM. The phone might offer an additional 3GB virtual RAM support. You can read more about virtual RAM here. As for the software, we can expect the V21e 5G to run Android 11 out of the box.
In terms of optics, the phone is considered to sport a dual-camera setup. The device might feature a 64MP primary main camera and an 8MP ultra-wide-angle lens at the rear. For the selfies and video-calling, the phone might come equipped with a 32MP camera unit. The V21e 5G is said to pack a 4,000mAh battery. The device might offer 44W fast charging support. These charging capability details of the handset were revealed by a leaked poster yesterday.
