Vivo, back in January, launched the Vivo V23 and the Vivo V23 Pro in the Indian market. Vivo follows a 6-month refresh cycle for the V-series and so, the Vivo V25 series is expected to hit the Indian market in the coming weeks. Vivo is expected to announce two models – the Vivo V25 and the Vivo V25 Pro under its V25 series initially. In a new development, the upcoming Vivo V25 Pro has now been spotted on the Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) certification, courtesy of Pricebaba. The appearance of the device on the BIS certification hints toward an imminent launch.
The Vivo V25 Pro with model number V2158 was spotted on the IMEI database a couple of months back. A recent report suggested that the Vivo V25 might make a debut in August in the Indian market. It is also said that the Vivo V25 Pro will not launch alongside the Vivo V25, instead, the company will launch it in the month of September.
Vivo V25 Pro 5G: Expected Specifications and Features
The Vivo V25 Pro is expected to be a rebranded Vivo S15 Pro which was launched recently in the Chinese market. The device is expected to feature a 6.56-inch Full HD+ AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate.
Under the hood, the device might sport an octa-core MediaTek Dimensity 8100 processor which comes with an integrated Mali G610 GPU. This is the same processor that powers the OnePlus 10R, Realme GT Neo 3, and the Oppo Reno8 Pro. As per reports, the Vivo V25 Pro might come in 8GB + 128GB, 8GB + 256GB, and 12GB + 256GB configurations.
The upcoming Vivo V series smartphone is expected to offer a triple-rear camera setup including a 50MP primary Sony IMX766 sensor. The company might also include a 12MP ultra-wide-angle lens and a 2MP portrait sensor on the device. For selfies, it might offer a 32MP front shooter. The device is expected to come with a 4500mAh battery and 80W SuperVOOC fast charging.
