Vivo has confirmed the launch of the V27 Series in India. The phone was doing rounds on the internet with its leaked poster, design and specifications. The company has now confirmed that the Vivo V27 Series is indeed launching in India and will be sold via Flipkart and Vivo e-store. A teaser page of the product has gone live on both platforms which confirms its availability in the country.

Vivo V27 Series India Launch Confirmed
As per the poster shown on Flipkart, one or both phones in the series will come with a curved display. The right frame of the phone has a volume rocker and a power button in blue colour, so we can expect Vivo to launch the V27 series in a blue colour option. On the other side, there’s a black colour variant that has three camera sensors and a circular LED flash housed in a vertical rectangle module. Besides these, the company has not confirmed any details about the V27 series. We expect them to announce a launch date soon.

A leaked Vivo V27 series poster indicates that it could be a rebranded version of S16 series launched in China. The company is expected to launch the Vivo V27 and Vivo V27 Pro under its new series. The leaked poster reveals the phone in Green and Gold colour options, however, we can expect the company to introduce above mentioned colour as well.
Vivo V27 Series Specifications
The Vivo V series has always been about its cameras and design. Vivo seems to be bringing something similar for its upcoming series. As per the leaked poster, the V27 series will be among the thinnest smartphones with a thickness of 7.4mm. As shown in the teaser, both phones will have a curved display.
There will be a 50MP Sony IMX766 main camera sensor. The phones are rumoured to feature a 50MP front camera. These phones will feature optical image stabilisation (OIS) and electronic image stabilisation (EIS).
The poster also confirms that the phones will support 66W fast charging out of the box. It will have 12GB of RAM and 8GB of Extended RAM support.
The upcoming Vivo V27 was recently spotted on the Geekbench benchmark database. The benchmark listing for the device revealed the presence of a MediaTek Dimensity processor and 12GB of RAM. The Vivo V27 could be the first device in India to pack a MediaTek Dimensity 7200 processor under the hood. Both phones are expected to boot Android 13 based Funtouch OS 13 out of the box.
As per a report, the V27 5G will be priced at around Rs 35,000 for the base model whereas the V27 Pro 5G could be priced at around Rs 40,000 in India.
