Vivo recently launched Vivo Y27 4G smartphone in India. Vivo priced the smartphone at Rs 14,999 for the variant with 8GB RAM and 128GB of storage. The company equipped the device with MediaTek Helio G85 Soc. A tipster recently hinted that Vivo might launch the Vivo V29 Pro smartphone soon in India.
The tipster also added that Vivo might launch vanilla V29 and V29 Lite smartphones soon in other markets. Vivo had launched the V29 Lite smartphone in Europe. The smartphone is a rebranded Vivo Y78 5G smartphone which was launched in Singapore. Earlier today, we spotted the V29 Pro smartphone in the BIS listing. Vivo V29 Series Design Revealed: Expected Specifications
The teaser video shared by Vivo reveals that the vanilla Vivo V29 will feature a rear camera cut-out similar to the Vivo S17 smartphone. The upcoming smartphone is said to be a slightly rebranded Vivo S17 smartphone for the global markets. However, the LED ring light seen on the Vanilla S17 smartphone is missing on the Vanilla V29 smartphone. The positioning of the LED flashlight is also different in the upcoming device.
Vivo will equip the device with a triple rear camera setup. The top ring will house the primary camera, and the bottom ring will house the secondary cameras. The upcoming smartphone will have a 6.78-inch AMOLED display with FHD- resolution and 120Hz refresh rate. Under the hood, it will feature a Snapdragon 778G Plus SoC, paired with up to 12GB of RAM and 256GB of storage.
Vivo might equip the device with a 64MP primary rear camera with OIS. The other sensors are expected to be a secondary 8MP ultra-wide-angle lens and a 2MP macro lens. The device will feature a punch-hole cut-out for housing a 50MP selfie camera with autofocus support. The device is expected to be backed by a 4505 mAh battery with 80W fast charging tech support.
The teaser also reveals the design of another smartphone which is expected to be the upcoming Vivo V29 Pro smartphone. The teaser reveals a design similar to the vanilla V29 smartphone. The primary difference will be the addition of an LED ring light. The smartphone was listed in the BIS certification with the model number V2251. The device was also recently spotted in the GeekBench listing with the MediaTek Dimensity 8200 SoC.
The chipset will pair up to 12GB of RAM and 512GB of storage. The device will run on Funtouch OS 13.1 based on Android 13 out of the box. A previous teaser shared by Vivo revealed that Vivo will equip the upcoming device with a curved display. Vivo is expected to equip the device with a 6.7-inch AMOLED display.
The device is expected to feature a triple-rear camera setup of a 50MP primary camera with OIS. The primary sensor will be paired with an 8MP ultra-wide-angle lens and a 12MP telephoto lens. The device is tipped to feature a 50MP selfie camera with OIS, similar to the vanilla V29 smartphone. The smartphone will be backed by a 4600 mAh battery with 80W fast charging tech support.
