The Vivo V2342 Geekbench listing reveals the presence of an octa-core SoC with codename Bengal, 4+4 core configuration, and Adreno GPU, which suggests that it could be the Qualcomm Snapdragon 680 or Snapdragon 685. However, the clock frequency of the performance cores, which is 2.80GHz, confirms that it’s the Qualcomm Snapdragon 685.

For those unaware, the Qualcomm Snapdragon 685 is an overclocked version of the Snapdragon 680 and powers several mid-range handsets, including the Redmi Note 13, Realme C67, and Redmi Note 12. The benchmark listing further reveals that the upcoming Vivo handset will be paired with 8GB of RAM and will come pre-loaded with Android 14.

In related news, Vivo recently unveiled the Vivo V30 series, consisting of the Vivo V30 and the Vivo V30 Pro in the Indian market. The company has launched the Vivo V30 Lite 5G a couple of months ago in Mexico. There is a high chance that the Vivo V30 Lite (4G variant) will be the company’s fourth handset under the Vivo V30 lineup.
