Vivo has launched its much-awaited Vivo X100 Series in India. The company has unveiled two flagships in the country, the Vivo X100 and the Vivo X100 Pro. Vivo’s X-Series is known for its camera prowess, and the legacy has been carried forward in the latest devices with Zeiss-powered cameras.
The Vivo X100 Series also marks the debut of the MediaTek Dimensity 9300 chipset in India. Both phones feature curved AMOLED screens and telephoto camera lenses. Let’s have a closer look at Vivo’s prominent flagships.

Vivo X100 and X100 Pro: Price and Availability in India

The Vivo X100 and the Vivo X100 Pro will be available for purchase on Flipkart, Vivo’s Official website, and Vivo’s offline retail stores starting from January 11, 2024. Customers can also pre-book the device starting today.
Vivo is also offering a limited-time 10% instant discount on HDFC bank and SBI cards. The offer will be valid on debit card, credit card, and EMI transactions.
The Vivo X100 Series offers two colour options: Asteroid Black and Stargaze Blue.
Vivo X100 Series: Features and Specifications
The Vivo X100 and the X100 Pro come with a 6.78-inch curved LTPO AMOLED screen with a 1.5K resolution and 120Hz refresh rate. The display is rated for HDR10+ and has peak brightness levels of up to 3000 nits. The screen has a hole-punch design for the front camera.
Both devices are powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 9300 chipset, which is engineered on TSMC’s 4nm architecture. It is paired with the Immortalis-G720 MC12 GPU and APU 790 for AI processing. The devices run on FunTouch OS 14 based on Android 14 out of the box.
Vivo X100 features a Zeiss-powered triple rear camera setup. It includes a 50MP primary camera with f/1.6 aperture, PDAF, and OIS. The secondary camera is a64MP telephoto lens with support for 3x optical zoom and OIS. The third camera is a 50MP ultra-wide lens with a 119-degree field of vision.
Vivo X100 Pro gets an upgraded telephoto sensor. It features a 50MP primary camera with f/1.8 aperture, PDAF, and OIS. The secondary camera is a 50MP periscope-telephoto lens that supports 4.3x optical zoom and OIS. The third camera is the same 50MP ultrawide lens.
The rear camera module on the Vivo X100 Series comes with a Zeiss T* lens coating. The devices also feature the Vivo V3 chip on the X100 Pro, and the V2 chip on the X100, which are dedicated ISPs for processing images and videos using AI. The selfie camera is a 32MP sensor.
Vivo X100 runs on a 5000mAh battery. It supports 120W wired fast charging which can charge the device from 0-100% in 30 minutes. In contrast, the Vivo X100 Pro gets a larger 5400mAh battery. It supports 100W wired fast charging via USB-C and 50W wireless charging.
Both the Vivo X100 and the X100 Pro have the same connectivity features, which include 5G, 4G LTE, GPS, GLONASS, NavIC, WiFi 7, Bluetooth 5.4, and NFC. They also feature in-display fingerprint scanners but miss out on the 3.5mm headphone jack.
