The Vivo X23 is an impressively designed smartphone that has been introduced in several variants, including the Star Edition, Logo Edition, and the Fashion Edition. The latest version of the device is the Symphony Edition and the phone was launched with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. Now, yet another variant of the Vivo X23 Symphony Edition has been introduced, and it comes with 6GB RAM instead of 8GB RAM. The internal storage capacity remains the same though, at 128GB. For those who want a cheaper version of the smartphone, it can be yours.
Vivo X23 Symphony Edition Launch, Pricing Details
The Vivo X23 Symphony Edition is now available for pre-order at the company’s official online store in China. The smartphone is priced at CNY 2,798, which is approximately INR 28,891. It is available in the Arctic Morning and Starry Night color variants. If you want the Vivo X23 with more color options, then you will need to opt for the 8GB RAM + 128GB internal storage model. The current model comes with 6GB of RAM paired with 128GB of onboard memory.
Though the official sale of the smartphone will start on November 23, only Chinese customers can pre-order the device. They will also be able to avail a few freebies with the phone. This includes a free laser engraving service, where you can personalize your Vivo X23 Symphony Edition according to your desire. You’ll also get 2798 store points, which you can use to avail a discount next time you purchase from this website.
Lastly, you get a fitness tracker worth CNY 89, or approximately INR 918. Vivo’s online store also provides reasonable after-sales service, where you can return the product within 30 days if it starts to show problems or a manufacturing defect. You’ll receive a replacement for the device.
Vivo X23 Symphony Edition: Specifications, Features
Featuring a 6.41-inch Super AMOLED screen with Full HD+ resolution (2340×1080 pixels), the Vivo X23 Symphony Edition impresses with its extremely high screen-to-body ratio of 91.2 percent. This high screen-to-body ratio is made possible thanks to the teardrop notch at the top which also houses the front camera. The Vivo X23 is equipped with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 chipset which has an Adreno 615 GPU. This SoC is slightly less powerful than the Snapdragon 710 but it is capable of holding its own if you want a combination of performance and efficiency.
There is no microSD card slot for storage expansion, though. However, the Vivo X23 does come with a 3.5mm audio jack. It also houses an In-display fingerprint reader instead of the traditional sensor mounted at the back. The smartphone features a 12MP+13MP dual-camera at the back, along with a 24.8MP selfie shooter at the front. The secondary sensor at the rear is able to capture images with a wider angle, much like the feature that LG offers with its premium smartphones.
The Vivo X23 is powered by a 3500mAh battery and though the device is not Qi wireless charging compatible, it provides support for 22.5W fast-charging. Vivo has not confirmed if the smartphone is going to launch in India as its social media channels are currently mum on the word. From the looks of it, the smartphone will continue to sell as a Chinese-exclusive model.
