Vivo X90 series launch is imminent. The company has started teasing the launch of its next flagship smartphone series in China. Vivo is expected to launch at least three phones in the X90 series. These include the X90, X90 Pro and X90 Pro+ 5G. The Vivo X90 Pro+ will sit at the top of the lineup. It is expected to launch in India sometime next year.

Vivo is yet to confirm the launch date of the X90 series. Meanwhile, some details of the X90 series have started surfacing online. The company has already teased the rear panel design of the phone. Now, the camera specifications of the X90 Pro+ have surfaced online. Let’s take a look at the Vivo X90 Pro+ 5G camera specifications, features and other details leaked ahead of the launch.

Vivo X90 Pro+ 5G Camera Specifications 

The Vivo X90 Pro+ 5G will launch as a successor to the X80 Pro 5G. The phone’s camera specifications have leaked online ahead of its launch. The X90 Pro+ 5G will feature some top-end camera hardware, according to tipster Yogesh Brar. The tipster revealed that the X90 Pro+ will feature a 1-inch 50MP main camera. The 50MP sensor is the same Sony IMX989 found in the Xiaomi 12S Ultra. 

Alongside the main camera, the phone is also said to feature a 48MP ultra-wide camera. There will be two telephoto camera sensors. The first telephoto camera will feature a 50MP sensor and shoot at 2x optical zoom. The second telephoto lens will be a 64MP periscope camera. According to reports, Vivo will use a 64MP OmniVision OV64B telephoto camera sensor for the X90 series.

The device will also feature the V2 custom ISP, which is claimed to enhance the camera performance in low light and portrait mode. The device will also feature Zeiss’ T* coating.

Other details of the X90 Pro+ 5G have leaked in the past. The phone is said to feature a 6.78-inch AMOLED display with a QHD+ resolution. it will feature support for a 120Hz refresh rate. The display is also said to feature curved sides and a hole-punch cutout at the top centre for the front camera.

Under the hood, the phone is likely to feature a Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC. It will launch with 12GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage. The device could pack a 5000mAh battery and offer 100W fast charging support. Vivo has teased the rear panel of the phone, which shows off the red colour. The device will sport a circular camera module on the back. Unlike the previous generation models, the X90 Pro+ could feature a matte finish on the back, courtesy of the faux leather materials. The X90 series is also said to feature a Dimensity 9200 SoC, which was launched on November 8.  More details about the devices could be unveiled soon as we get closer to the launch.
