Vivo X90, X90 Pro Global Launch Timeline, Price, Specifications and Marketing Material Leaked

Vivo will not launch the X90 Pro+ 5G in global markets, according to the leaked details.

Vivo recently launched the X90 series in China. The company launched three premium smartphones as part of its flagship lineup. Thes include the X90, X90 Pro and X90 Pro+ 5G. The devices are expected to launch soon in India. Vivo has not confirmed any details about the launch of the X90 series in India at the time of writing this. Meanwhile, details about the phone’s global launch have surfaced online. A new report by NewzOnly, citing tipster Paras Guglani, has revealed the marketing images of the X90 series for the global market.

The images shared in the report highlight the key features of the X90 series. It also claims that Vivo will not launch the Pro+ 5G model, at least in Malaysia. Guglani claimed that the X90 Pro and X90 5G would launch with a single storage option. The devices will pack 12GB of RAM and offers  256GB of internal storage as standard. They will also launch with support for 8GB of RAM. The X90 Pro is said to launch in a single Legendary Black colour, whereas the vanilla model will be available in Breeze Blue and Asteroid Black colours. 

Guglani also revealed the price of the X90 series. The tipster claims that the X90 5G will likely arrive with a starting price of RM 3,699 (roughly Rs 69,000), whereas the X90 Pro will have a price tag of RM 5,299 (roughly Rs 98,900). The phones are likely to go on sale in Malaysia from February 2.

As for the images, they highlight the camera and display features of the X90 series. The images confirm that the global markets will get the X90 series with an IPX4 rating for water and dust resistance. They will also feature a triple-camera setup on the back with Zeiss-tuned optics. With the 120W charger bundled inside the box, the X90’s 4810mAh battery can be charged up to 50 per cent in 8 minutes. The images also reveal that the phones will sport a curved display with a hole-punch cutout at the top centre. There is a V2 chip under the hood, which will help with image processing and AI acceleration. 

The display will have 1300 nits of peak brightness and support a 120Hz refresh rate. The X90 series global variants will also feature a Dimensity 9200 SoC, which is MediaTek’s latest flagship SoC.

The report also revealed other details of the global variants of both devices. The X90 and X90 Pro will feature a Dimensity 9200 SoC. As mentioned, both phones will have up to 12GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage. The X90 series global models will sport a 6.78-inch Full HD+ AMOLED display with a 1260×2800-pixel resolution. The X90 will weigh about 200 grams, whereas the Pro model will weigh 215 grams.

On the back, both phones have a triple-camera setup with a 50MP primary camera. The X90 has a 12MP ultra-wide and a 12MP portrait sensor. The X90 Pro, on the other hand, has a 50MP + 50MP + 12MP camera setup. The primary camera will be accompanied by an ultra-wide camera and a 12MP portrait telephoto camera.

Both phones will come with a 32MP front camera. The devices will also run on the latest Funtouch OS 13 based on Android 13.
