Vivo is all set to introduce a new smartphone under the X-series – the Vivo X90s in the Chinese market. The Vivo X90s, as per the official announcement, will launch on June 26 in China. Ahead of the launch, Vivo has now revealed the rear panel design and colour options of the upcoming Vivo X90s.
Vivo, earlier this morning, updated the Vivo X90s launch micro-site which now showcases the upcoming handset in White and Mint Green colour options. The latest teaser image, shared by the company, also confirms that the Vivo X90s will come equipped with a triple rear camera setup. Similar to recent Vivo flagships, the cameras on the upcoming X90s will also be tuned by Zeiss optics.
The upcoming Vivo X90s will be the company’s fourth smartphone under the latest iteration of the X-series. The company already has Vivo X90, Vivo X90 Pro, and Vivo X90 Pro+ under the X90 series. Let us take a closer look at what we know about the Vivo X90s so far.
The Vivo X90s was previously spotted on the Google Play Console database. The Vivo X90s Google Play Console appearance revealed the presence of a MediaTek Dimensity 9200 processor under the hood. This is the same processor that powers the Vivo X90 and Vivo X90 Pro which were launched back in November in China.
The Vivo X90s has the model number V2241A and will feature 12GB of RAM. We can expect the device to be unveiled in other memory configurations as well. The Vivo X90s will feature a curved display panel with a centred punch-hole notch. As per the Google Play Console listing, the device will feature a 1260 × 2800 pixel resolution display.
The smartphone will feature a 6.78-inch AMOLED display with a 1.5K resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. The upcoming Vivo X90s will come pre-loaded with Android 13 but as usual, it will feature Vivo’s proprietary OriginOS on top of Android. The smartphone will be available in four storage options – 128GB, 256GB, 512GB, and 1TB as per the TENAA listing.
The Vivo X90s will be available in 8GB, 12GB, and 16GB RAM options. The smartphone will feature a triple-rear camera setup including a 50MP primary shooter, going by the TENAA listing. It will get accompanied by a 12MP secondary sensor and a 12MP auxiliary sensor. It will feature a 32MP front camera.
The Vivo X90s, as revealed in the TENAA listing, will feature a 4690mAH battery unit (a 2345mAh dual-cell battery). The smartphone is expected to support 120W fast charging. The Vivo X90s is launching on June 26 in China. We can expect Vivo to reveal its global availability after the China launch.
