vivo is expected to launch a new Y-series smartphone, the vivo Y03, in the coming weeks. The company has yet to reveal the launch date and other details. In the latest development, a new report by Appuals spills the beans about the vivo Y03 design renders, colour options, specifications, and price.

The upcoming vivo Y03 will succeed the vivo Y02. The Y-series smartphone will be an entry-level handset targeted at first-time smartphone buyers. It will be available in two colour options: light and dark green.

According to leaked renders, the vivo Y03 features a big display with a waterdrop notch and a thick chin. The upcoming Y-series handset has a flat-edge design with a 3.5mm audio jack, primary microphone, and USB Type-C port along the bottom edge.

The vivo Y03 is tipped to sport a 6.56-inch IPS LCD display with a 90Hz refresh rate and an HD+ resolution. The smartphone is said to be powered by a MediaTek Helio G85 processor. It might come pre-loaded with Android 14 with FunTouchOS 14 on top.

The vivo Y03 is said to sport a dual-rear camera setup, including a 13MP primary camera, a 0.08MP QVGA lens, and an LED flash. The handset is tipped to feature a 5MP camera for selfies and video calls. It might also feature support for Super Night mode, Multi-style Portrait, Panorama, Slow Motion, Time-Lapse, and Professional mode.

The vivo Y03 will reportedly be equipped with a 5000mAh battery unit. It is tipped to feature support for 15W fast charging over a USB Type-C charging port. The handset might be IP54 rated, making it dust and water-resistant.

The vivo Y03 will reportedly arrive in two configurations – 4GB + 64GB and 4GB + 128GB. It is said to feature support for 4GB extended RAM. The handset might be priced around $100 (approx Rs 8,270).
