Vivo’s new Y-series smartphone, the Y16 4G, is now available for purchase in India. The company unveiled the Vivo Y16 as its new budget smartphone earlier this year in Hong Kong. According to popular retailer Mahesh Telecom, the Vivo Y16 is available for purchase in India. The Y16 is a 4G offering and is priced under Rs 15,000 in India. The phone sports a flat frame design and comes with a rectangular camera module.

Vivo Y16 4G India Price and Specifications 

The Vivo Y16 4G is yet another budget smartphone in the Y-series from the company in India. It is priced (via) at Rs 12,499 for the sole 4GB RAM variant. It comes with 64GB of internal storage. The device is available in Gold and Black colours.

The phone sports a 6.51-inch IPS LCD with an HD+ resolution. There is a waterdrop notch at the top for the front camera. Vivo has launched the phone with a 5MP front camera.

On the back, there is a dual-camera setup. The phone features two large cutouts for the camera sensors. There is a 13MP main camera sensor and a 2MP depth sensor.  The LED flash is located inside the camera module.

The Y16 packs a fairly old MediaTek Helio P35 SoC. The chipset is paired with 64GB of internal storage and 4GB of RAM. There is support for storage expansion via a microSD card. The device also supports 1GB of Extended RAM.
