Vivo has quietly launched its most awaited Vivo Y1s smartphone today in India. Yes! You read it correctly, the smartphone is finally official and it falls in the budget segment phone. The highlights of the Vivo Y1s are glossy rear panel, waterdrop notch design, 4,030mAh battery, and a lot more among the other features. However, the Vivo Y1s didn’t arrive with fast-charging support. Here’s a closer look at the specifications, features, price, and Jio lock-in details of the Vivo Y1s smartphone. 

Vivo Y1s price in India 

The Vivo Y1s in India is priced at Rs 7,990 and the smartphone will be up for grabs in Aurora Blue and Olive Black colour options. Consumers can also avail the smartphone with Jio network lock-in, which offers additional benefits of worth Rs 4,550 by recharging Rs 249 or above. The Jio benefits will also include 90-days Shemaroo OTT platform subscription at Rs 99. The company is also offering one-time screen replacement via OneAssist at Rs 149, but it would be valid for six months post-purchase only.

The new member of Vivo Y series flaunts a 6.22-inch Halo FullView HD+ display with a resolution of 1520×720 pixels. The screen also features a waterdrop notch to accommodate the selfie sensor. Under the hood, the Vivo Y1s is powered by the MediaTek Helio P35 processor, clubbed with 2GB of RAM and 32GB of onboard storage. The storage can be further expanded via microSD card. 

On the software front, the smartphone runs Android 10 operating system with Funtouch OS 10.5 custom skin on top. The Vivo Y1s is fuelled by a 4,030mAh battery and supports dual 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.0, GPS + GLONASS dual 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.0, GPS + GLONASS on the connectivity part. 

As far as the cameras are concerned, the Vivo Y1s features a 13-megapixel single rear camera setup along with an LED flash. Under the waterdrop design, the smartphone houses a 5-megapixel camera sensor for selfies and video calls.
