Vivo has hiked the price of the Vivo Y1s and the Y12s in India. You will have to spend little extra money starting from today if you are planning to purchase these Y-series handsets. The price of the Vivo Y1s and the Y12s is hiked by Rs 500 from today, as per retail sources. The new pricing will be effective across both online and offline purchases. Apart from the price hike, the Chinese smartphone maker is now selling the new 3GB RAM variant of the Vivo Y1s in India. Both the Y1s and the Y12s were launched in India back in November 2020. These handsets are budget-offering from Vivo which are powered by Helio P35 SoCs and they run Android 10 out of the box.
Vivo Y1s, Y12s Receives Price Hike in India
Now, that the company has hiked the price of the Y1s, you will have to spend Rs 8490 for the 2GB RAM + 32GB storage variant. The newly introduced 3GB RAM model is priced at around Rs 9490. On the other hand, if you are planning to purchase the Y12s, it will now cost Rs 10490, instead of Rs 9990.

Speaking about the specifications of these devices, the Vivo Y1s sports a 6.2-inch IPS display, while the Y12s comes with a 6.51-inch display with 720 x 1600 pixels resolution. Both these handsets under the hood are powered by Helio P35 SoC. These devices ship with 2GB/3GB RAM along with 32GB storage, and run Android 10-based FuntouchOS out of the box. In terms of the optics department, the Y1s features a 13MP single camera, while at the front it sports a 5MP camera.
Moving to the Vivo Y12s optics details, it sports a 13MP + 2MP dual-camera setup. For selfies and video-calling, the handset is equipped with an 8MP camera unit. The Y1s houses a 4030mAh battery which lacks fast charging support. On the other hand, the Y12s packs a 5000mAh battery that supports 10W charging. The Vivo Y12s features a side-mounted fingerprint sensor, which is embedded in a home button. As for the connectivity purpose, these devices have dual-SIM support, 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n/ac, Bluetooth v5.0, a 3.5mm audio jack, and a microUSB 2.0 port.
