Vivo Y22s renders have surfaced online, ahead of the launch of the company’s purported handset. The alleged renders show the smartphone in two colour options with a dual rear camera setup and an LED flash. The rumoured Vivo handset was previously referenced in a leak revealing the handset’s storage configurations, which pointed to the handset’s forthcoming introduction. The upcoming Vivo Y22s will have a waterdrop notch and a thick chin at the bottom. The handset will pack a dual rear camera module and be powered by a Qualcomm chipset. Let’s take a closer look at the Vivo Y22s, specifications, design, and everything we know so far.

Vivo Y22s to Soon Launch in India

The upcoming Vivo Y22s may have a dual rear camera arrangement and a waterdrop-style notch to house the selfie camera, according to renders shared by tipster Paras Guglani in collaboration with Pricebaba. The shared renders also reveal a fairly large chin at the bottom.

The report reveals that the Vivo Y22s will sport a 6.55-inch HD+ LCD display with the front camera positioned in a waterdrop notch. The smartphone’s rear panel features a gradient pattern and a rectangular camera module. Given the lack of a physical rear-mounted fingerprint scanner and the absence of an AMOLED display, we may see Vivo integrate a side-mounted fingerprint scanner that doubles as the power button.

The smartphone is believed to be powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 680 chipset, with up to 8GB of RAM and 128GB of storage. Fueling the smartphone is reported to be a 5,000mAh cell with support for 18W fast charging. The smartphone is likely to run Funtouch OS 12 out of the box.

On the optics front, the Vivo Y22s 4G is said to include a dual camera module on the back with a 50MP primary sensor, a 2MP secondary lens, and an LED flash. On the front, we may see Vivo go with an 8MP selfie camera. Vivo might debut the smartphone in two colour options – Black and Blue.
