Vivo has been introducing several new models under the Y-series lately. The most recent offering from the Chinese smartphone company is the Vivo Y30 Standard Edition. The new variant is an addition to the Y30 that was launched earlier this year. The Vivo Y30 Standard Edition launched in China comes with a MediaTek Helio P35 processor, a 5,000 mAh battery, and a dual-camera setup. The company has launched a single 6GB RAM variant of the Y30 Standard Edition in China for CNY 1,398, which roughly translates to Rs 15,700. The Y30 Standard Edition has been launched in China. The smartphone could make its way to India in the coming months. Currently, Vivo is offering the Y30 with 4GB RAM and 6GB RAM options. There is no word on the official launch of the Y30 Standard Edition in India.

The Y30 Standard Edition has been launched in China for CNY 1,398, which roughly translates to Rs 15,700. For the price, users get 6GB of RAM and 128GB of internal memory. It comes in two colour options – Aurora, and Cloud Water Blue. 

Vivo Y30 Standard Edition specifications 

The Y30 Standard Edition sports a 6.51-inch HD+ IPS LCD with a 720 x 1600 resolution. The smartphone comes with a 20:9 aspect ratio. The display has a water-drop notch on top for the front-facing camera. 

Under the hood, the Y30 Standard Edition features an octa-core MediaTek Helio P35 processor. The performance unit is paired with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. Users can expand the memory by 256GB via a microSD card.

The device packs a 5,000 mAh battery with 10W charging. For biometrics, the Y30 Standard Edition comes with a side-mounted fingerprint scanner and face unlock support.

At the back, there is a dual-camera setup. The device has a 13MP primary camera sensor with an aperture of f/2.2. This is paired with a 2MP depth sensor that has an f/2.4 aperture. An 8MP front camera with an aperture of f/1.8 takes care of the selfies.

Connectivity options include 4G, dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.0, GPS, a 3.5mm headphone jack, and a micro-USB port. 

The device weighs 191 grams and is 8.4mm thick.
