Yesterday, we came across a leak surrounding Vivo’s upcoming Vivo Y50 smartphone. The device was spotted on the Google Play Console listing, which gave us some of its key specifications. Notably, the Vivo Y50 will be the first-ever smartphone in the Vivo Y-series to feature a punch-hole display. Today, we have been able to spot an alleged promotional poster for the Vivo Y50, which showcases the device in all its glory – front and back. Vivo Y50 Promotional Poster Leaked; Key Features Revealed
As seen in the promotional poster for the device, the Vivo Y50 will feature a single punch-hole cutout for the selfie camera. As mentioned earlier, this makes the Vivo Y50 the first Y-series smartphone to have this feature. The punch-hole cutout will ensure a tall aspect ratio, though we can still spot a fair amount of bezel at the bottom of the device.
Moving around on the rear of the device, the Vivo Y50 can be seen flaunting a quadruple camera setup, which is encased in a rectangular module. Right underneath the vertically-aligned cameras, there is an LED flash. In addition to the camera module and the obvious Vivo branding, the Vivo Y50 can be seen housing a rear-mounted physical fingerprint scanner. The presence of a physical fingerprint scanner leads us to believe that the Vivo Y50 might come with an LCD display panel. Nevertheless, Vivo is calling the display of the Vivo Y50 “Ultra O Screen”.

The promotional poster also revealed that the Vivo Y50 will feature 8GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. It is still unclear as to whether or not the Vivo Y50 will have scope for further storage expansion. Plus, the poster mentions a “free gift” for interested buyers. We are not entirely sure as to what the free gift could be. As far as the launch and availability is concerned, the Vivo Y50 will supposedly launch in several countries like India, Indonesia, and Malaysia.

Coming to the rest of the specifications of the device, the Vivo Y50 will feature a Full HD+ display with a 1,080 x 2,340 pixel resolution and a 480 pixel per inch pixel density. Under the hood, the Vivo Y50 will be powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 665 processor, which will be paired with 6GB/8GB of RAM and 128GB of onboard storage. As far as software is concerned, the Vivo Y50 will run the latest Android 10 OS out of the box with FunTouch OS baked on top. Coming to the battery of the device, the Vivo Y50 is expected to sport a 5,000mAh battery. Whether or not the device will feature fast charging is anyone’s guess as of now.
