Vivo has unveiled yet another smartphone under its Y-series – the Vivo Y53t in its domestic market. The latest Y-series smartphone from Vivo is powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 700 processor and is quite similar to the Vivo Y35m which was recently unveiled in China. The smartphone offers a 60Hz display with HD+ resolution and a waterdrop notch. Even in 2023, Vivo is sticking with an HD+ resolution display and a waterdrop notch for its Y-series smartphones.

Vivo Y53t: Price and Availability
The Vivo Y53t is priced at RMB 999 (approx Rs 12,000) for the 4GB + 128GB configuration. There is also a 6GB + 128GB variant of the device that costs RMB 1099 (approx Rs 13,200). The handset will be available for purchase starting January 9 in China. There is no word on the device’s India availability yet.

The all-new Vivo Y53t flaunts a 6.51-inch LCD display with an HD+ resolution, 269ppi pixel density, a 1500:1 contrast ratio, and a 60Hz refresh rate. The display panel features a waterdrop notch and supports a 120Hz touch sampling rate.
Powering the latest Y-series smartphone is an octa-core MediaTek Dimensity 700 processor that comes coupled with an integrated Mali G57 GPU. It comes paired with up to 6GB LPDDR4X RAM and up to 128GB UFS 2.2 storage. The device boots OriginOS Ocean, based on Android 13.
On the optics front, the all-new Vivo Y53t sports a dual-rear camera setup that includes a 13MP primary shooter with an f/2.2 aperture. There is also a 2MP macro sensor with an f/2.4 aperture on the back. The smartphone relies on a 5MP front shooter for video calls and selfies.
The latest Y-series smartphone comes equipped with a 5000mAh battery unit and 15W fast charging support. It relies on a Type-C port for charging and data transfers. The smartphone is also equipped with a side-mounted fingerprint scanner and a 3.5mm audio port. The device also features support for face unlock feature.
The Vivo Y53t comes in two colour options – Orange and Black. It weighs 186 grams and measures 164.05 × 75.60 × 8.15mm. On the connectivity front, it offers Dual-SIM, 5G, WiFi 802.11 ac, Bluetooth 5.1, GPS, Glonass, Beidou, and Galileo.
