Vivo seems to be prepping up for the launch of its next Y-series smartphone called the Vivo Y72. it is going to be the first 5G enabled handset in the Y-series lineup. We have already witnessed a series of leaks and rumours about the smartphone and recently it has also appeared on the NBTC certification website revealing some of the features of the upcoming Vivo Y72 5G. Now in the latest development, a Thai blog has shared a live image of the smartphone including all the specifications of the handset ahead of the official launch. Vivo Y72 5G Specifications
According to the Thai Blog MX Phone, the Vivo Y72 5G is confirmed to flaunt a 6.58-inch FHD+ IPS display with a resolution of 2408×1080 pixels. It also has a waterdrop notch design that accommodates the front camera sensor. Under the hood, the handset is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 700 chipset, clubbed with 8GB RAM and 128GB storage.
Further, the report suggests that the Vivo Y72 5G smartphone features a rectangular-shaped triple rear camera setup placed at the top left corner of the rear panel. Looking at the live images you can notice that the primary and secondary camera sensors look larger than the third sensor. The camera module includes a 64-megapixel primary camera sensor accompanied by an 8-megapixel ultra-wide-angle which also serves as a portrait lens. The third sensor on the camera pallet sports a 2-megapixel Macro sensor along with an LED flash.
On the right chassis volume, rocker keys are placed along with the power button. The report also claims that the fingerprint scanner is embedded on the power button, which means it serves two purposes. You can switch on/off or unlock the phone with the same button.
At the front, the smartphone houses a 16-megapixel camera sensor that sits underneath the waterdrop notch design for taking selfies and video calls. It packs a 5,000mAh battery with support for 18W fast charging. It runs on the Android 11 operating system on top of Fun touch OS 11.1.
