Vivo is gearing up to launch a new smartphone in India. The company has confirmed the launch of Y73 in India. Vivo India Director Nipun Marya has teased the image of the upcoming smartphone. The device has a similar design to the Vivo V21 series. It has a rectangular camera module. The device has a triple-camera setup on the back. Marya did not reveal the exact launch date of the upcoming Vivo smartphone. MySmartPrice has exclusively leaked the device’s specifications ahead of the launch. Vivo has confirmed the launch of Y73 in India. The company has teased the design of its upcoming smartphone ahead of the launch.
The teaser image reveals that the phone has a triple-camera setup on the back. Overall, the design is quite similar to the V21 series. The company has not revealed the launch date or any other details of the upcoming smartphone.
However, MySmartPrice has leaked the specifications and features of the upcoming Vivo smartphone. It will feature a 6.44-inch FHD+ AMOLED display with a 1080 x 2400 resolution. The display will come with HDR10 support and an in-display fingerprint scanner. It will have a water-drop notch on top for the front camera.
Under the hood, the phone will draw power from a 12nm octa-core MediaTek Helio G95 SoC. It will have up to 8GB RAM, and up to 128GB storage. The phone will have Vivo’s Extended RAM feature that will offer 3GB of virtual RAM via internal storage. It will boot Android 11-based Funtouch OS 11 out of the box. The phone will pack a 4,000mAh battery with 33W fast-charging support.
The triple-camera setup on the back will have a 64MP primary camera. It will have two 2MP sensors for depth and macro. For selfies, the device will have a 16MP front camera. It will measure 161.24×74.37×7.38mm and weigh 170 grams. The phone is rumoured to carry a price tag of Rs. 20,999 for 8GB RAM, and 128GB storage variant.
