The Vivo Z5x has been launched in four variants in China. The 4GB RAM+64GB storage variant costs RMB 1,398 (approx. INR 14,400), 6GB RAM/64GB storage model is priced at RMB 1,498 (approx. INR 15,400), 6GB RAM/128GB storage model at RMB 1,698 (approx. INR 17,400), and 8GB RAM/128GB storage variant at RMB 1,998 (approx. INR 20,500). The phone has been launched in Aurora, Extreme Night Black, and Phantom Black color variants.

The Vivo Z5x comes with a 6.53-inch full-HD+ display with 1080 x 2340 pixels resolution and 19.5:9 aspect ratio. It has a punch-hole design featuring the selfie camera tucked in the top left corner on the front. An octa-core Snapdragon 710 SoC powers the Z5x while the software side is handled by Android 9 Pie-based FunTouch OS 9. There is a fingerprint sensor on the back.

Concerning optics, the Z5x boasts 16MP+8MP+2MP triple camera setup on the rear with f/1.78, f/2.2, f/2.4 apertures, respectively. The 8MP secondary lens is a wide-angle one while the third 2MP lens is a depth sensor. On the front, there is a 2MP selfie snapper with f/2.0 aperture. A massive 5,000mAh battery backs the handset. Connectivity support includes Wi-Fi, 4G LTE, Bluetooth, a 3.5mm headphone jack, GPS, and more.

Meanwhile, in India, Vivo has slashed the pricing of its existing smartphones i.e., the Vivo Y17 and the V15. Both the phones have received a price cut of INR 2,000 on their retail pricing. So now, the Vivo Y17 price in India is INR 15,990 while the V15 costs INR 19,990. Availability-wise, both Vivo V15 and Y17 are up for purchase via offline and online stores in India.

To recall, the key specs of the Vivo V15 include a MediaTek Helio P70 SoC, up to 6GB of RAM and 128GB storage. It runs Android 9.0 Pie-based Funtouch OS 9 and has a 32MP selfie camera. A 4,000mAh battery completes the phone. On the other hand, the Y17 is powered by a MediaTek Helio P22 chipset, 4GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. It boasts a 20MP selfie snapper on the front and houses a 5,000 mAh battery.
