A new Vi recharge plan of Rs 202 has been silently launched in India. The third-largest telecom operator in India has listed the new plan on its mobile app, however the same is not visible on the official website yet. Looking at the details of the new Vi recharge plan, it seems to be designed to deliver an enriching entertainment experience to existing customers.
Notably, the plan doesn’t offer any other benefits apart from access to Vi Moviеs and TV Pro subscription. For the uninitiated, Vi Movies and TV Pro is the telecom operator’s OTT offering bundled with prepaid and postpaid Vi recharge plans. Users can now purchase the bundle for Rs 202 with the new Vi recharge plan. Let’s take a look at all the details of the newest Vi recharge plan in India.

As you can see in the screenshot above, the new Rs 202 recharge plan is listed on the Vi app on mobile platforms. At the time of writing this piece, the plan was not listed on the official website, but we expect it to appear on the website soon. According to the details on the mobile app, the new Vi recharge plan offers access to more than 13 OTT apps to users through the Vi Movies and TV Pro subscription to users. The new Vi recharge plan offers Vi Movies and TV Pro subscription for 30 days to existing users.
The Vi recharge plan listing reveals that it doesn’t come with a service validity. This means that the latest recharge plan is coterminous with the existing base plan. Simply put, the new plan will expire when the base plan expires and is an entertainment add-on for the existing users. Therefore, it is important to note that existing customers should have an active base plan to enjoy the benefits of the new plan.
The OTT apps offered by the plan include a mix of various popular platforms to provide a comprehensive entertainment experience to users. The package includes streaming giants like Disnеy+ Hotstar, SonyLiv, SunNXT, Yupp TV, Shеmaroo Mе, Hungama and Discovеry.
With the new Vi recharge plan, the telecom operator is planning to take on the likes of JioTV Premium and Airtel Xstream Play. The former offers over 14 OTT apps, 2GB data per day, and starts at Rs 398 per month. On the other hand, the Airtel Xstream Play starts at Rs 149 per month and offers access to more than 20 OTT apps.
