Xiaomi 13 series, the company’s next flagship series, is expected to launch soon. The company has not confirmed any details about the launch date of its upcoming flagship phones. According to the rumour mill, the Xiaomi 13 series will debut in November or December. At least three phones, namely the Xiaomi 13, Xiaomi 13 Pro and the 13X are expected to launch this year in China. The Xiaomi 13 Pro will sit at the top of the lineup till the Xiaomi 13/ 13S Ultra debuts next year.
Ahead of the rumoured launch later this year, some key details about the Xiaomi 13 Pro have leaked online. Tipster Yogesh Brar has leaked the key specifications of the upcoming Pro smartphone from Xiaomi. The leaked details reveal that the 13 Pro will continue to sport a 50MP triple-camera setup as its predecessor. However, there will be a massive upgrade in the camera department. Xiaomi 13 Pro Specifications
The Xiaomi 13 Pro will be the company’s premium flagship offering. It is expected to launch in India and other markets early next year. Ahead of the launch, tipster Yogesh Brar has revealed that the phone will sport a 6.7-inch E6 AMOLED display. The LTPO screen will support a 120Hz refresh rate and come with a 2K resolution.
There will be a Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC under the hood. The same chipset will be found in the likes of the iQOO 11 series, the OnePlus 11 series and the Samsung Galaxy S23 series. Xiaomi will launch its flagship phone with 8GB and 12GB of RAM. There will be 128GB/ 256GB and 512GB storage options. The phone will also pack a 4800mAh battery under the hood. It will support 120W fast charging out of the box. The Xiaomi smartphone will come with the company’s Surge C2 and P2 chips, details of which are unknown at the moment.
For selfies, the 13 Pro 5G will come with a 32MP front camera sensor. On the back, there will be a triple-camera setup. The Xiaomi 13 Pro will feature a 50MP Sony IMX989 1-inch sensor, which was first featured in the Xiaomi 12S Ultra. The Vivo X90 Pro series is also rumoured to feature this sensor. The larger sensor should help capture more details and offer better lowlight camera performance.
In addition to this, there will be a 50MP ultrawide camera and a 50MP telephoto camera. Brar did not reveal the sensor details of the ultrawide and telephoto shooters. As expected, the Xiaomi 13 series will come with Leica-tuned cameras.
