Xiaomi 13T Unboxing Video Surfaces Ahead of Official Launch; Key Specifications Revealed

Xiaomi is expected to introduce the Xiaomi 13T and the Xiaomi 13T Pro smartphones next month. The specifications and pricing of both these devices surfaced recently. Additionally, the live images of the Xiaomi 13T Pro were revealed yesterday courtesy of NCC certification. The complete unboxing video of the Xiaomi 13T was uploaded on YouTube before the official launch. The video reveals the design of the device as well as confirms a few key specifications.

Xiaomi 13T Design Revealed Ahead of Launch

If we look at the device, its design looks somewhat similar to the Xiaomi 13 Pro. The video reveals the device will have a triple-camera setup at the back and an LED flash. The smartphone has volume keys and a power button on the right side, while the display consists of a punch-hole cutout, which will accommodate the selfie camera. At the bottom of the device is a stereo speaker, a USB Type-C port, and a SIM card slot. The unboxing video also discloses that the smartphone has a 67W fast charger. As far as the specifications of the device go, it will feature a 6.67-inch AMOLED display with a 1.5K resolution and a 144Hz refresh rate. Under the hood, the device will be powered by an octa-core Dimensity 8200 ultra chipset. The smartphone is expected to pack up to 12GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage. As for the software, the handset will be running Android 13 out of the box with MIUI 14 skin on top. The device will also have a NFC support.

Apart from the unboxing video, the camera specification of the device is also revealed in an image posted by tipster Sudhanshu Ambhore. The photo shows that the Xiaomi 13T will feature a 50MP primary camera (Sony IMX707 sensor), a 50MP telephoto camera (OmniVision OV50D sensor), and a 13MP wide-angle camera (OmniVision OV13B10 sensor). The device will sport a 20MP selfie camera for selfies and video-calling purposes. The whole package is expected to draw power from a 5,000mAh battery, which will have a 67W fast charging support.

Both the Xiaomi 13T and the Xiaomi 13T Pro are expected to launch in Europe in the first week of September. However, as of now, the company has not officially shared the launch date of these upcoming devices.
