Xiaomi is gearing up to launch its flagship smartphone – Xiaomi 14 Ultra. The Xiaomi 14 Ultra is expected to debut next week at MWC (Mobile World Congress) 2024 Edition. Ahead of rumoured launch, Xiaomi 14 Ultra’s detailed specifications, price, and renders have been leaked on the web, courtesy of WinFuture.

The Xiaomi 14 Ultra is tipped to sport a total of four 50MP cameras on the rear. The handset, similar to its predecessor, will be a camera-centric device and will feature Leica tuned cameras. Let us take a closer look at the details.

Xiaomi 14 Ultra: Rumoured performance, battery and charging specs

The Xiaomi 14 Ultra was earlier spotted on the Geekbench benchmark database which revealed the presence of a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 and 16GB of RAM. The handset is tipped to sport LPDDR5X RAM and UFS4.0 storage. It is said to come in 12GB + 256GB, 16GB + 512GB, and 16GB + 1TB configuration options.

The Xiaomi 14 Ultra will reportedly be equipped with a 5300mAh battery unit. The handset is tipped to offer a 90W wired fast charging and 50W wireless charging. The handset, as per benchmark listing, will come pre-loaded with Android 14, but we expect to see HyperOS skin on top.

The Xiaomi 14 Ultra is tipped to cost €1499 (approx Rs 1,34,000) for the 16GB + 512GB configuration variant.

Xiaomi 14 Ultra: Rumoured design and display specs

The Xiaomi 14 Ultra will feature a design language similar to its predecessor, but the design seems to be refined from last year’s Xiaomi 13 Ultra. The device appears to have a flat rear panel with rounded metal frame. Xiaomi is rumoured to launch a Titanium version of the device alongside the regular version. The Xiaomi 14 Ultra will feature a vegan leather rear panel, similar to its predecessor.

Xiaomi 14 Ultra appears to be ditching regular curved display and instead the company might go for a quad micro curved display as seen in the leaked renders, revealed exclusively by MySmartPrice. The handset will arrive in two colour options – Black and White.

The Xiaomi 14 Ultra will reportedly feature a 6.7-inch AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate, Quad HD (3200 × 1440 pixel) resolution, 300nits peak brightness, and HDR10+. The display panel will also accommodate an ultrasonic fingerprint scanner.

The Xiaomi 14 Ultra will feature a gigantic circular camera module with Leica branding on the rear. The handset is tipped to be around 220 grams in weight and will be 9.2mm thick (excluding the camera bump). It will reportedly also feature IP68 water and dust resistance.

Xiaomi 14 Ultra: Rumoured cameras specs

The Xiaomi 14 Ultra, as revealed through leaked renders, will be equipped with Leica-tuned quad-rear camera setup. The handset will reportedly feature four 50MP sensors, of which the primary sensor will be a 50MP Sony LYT 900 lens with a 1-inch sensor size, f/1.6 aperture, and OIS.

The Xiaomi 14 Ultra will reportedly also feature a 50MP ultra-wide-angle lens with an f/1.8 aperture. The remaining two sensors on the device will also have 50MP resolution and f/3.0 aperture and will serve as telephoto and periscope lenses. The handset is tipped to offer 3.2x and 5x optical zoom lenses. For selfies and video calls, it is tipped to sport a 32MP front shooter.

The Xiaomi flagship will reportedly be capable of doing 8K recording at up to 24 frames per second. Users might also get an option to record 4K resolution videos at 60 fps and 1080p resolution videos and 1920 fps. The front camera of the handset might be capable of recoding 4K videos.
