Xiaomi has confirmed the Mi 11 Ultra launch in India on April 23. The flagship phone comes with top-of-the-line specifications and is Xiaomi’s most premium smartphone to date. Xiaomi has now announced that it will debut another smartphone series in India. It will also bring the Mi 11X in India. The company’s CEO Manu Kumar Jain has teased the launch of the Xiaomi X flagship series in India. Jain, in his tweet, stated that the upcoming X-series smartphone will offer “Xtreme Performance” and an “Xquisite design”. The Mi 11x has launched in the international markets as a rebadged Redmi K40. Let’s take a look at the upcoming Mi 11X launch, specifications and other details.

Xiaomi Mi 11X launch in India confirmed alongside the Mi 11 Ultra on April 23

Xiaomi has confirmed that it will launch the X-series in India on April 23. Alongside the Mi 11 Ultra, it will launch the Xiaomi Mi 11X.

The Mi 11X has launched in Europe as the Poco F3, which is a rebadged Redmi K40. However, Jain’s tweet claims that the upcoming X-series smartphone has been customised for India. This could mean that the company may have made some alternations in the internals for the Indian market.

Xiaomi Mi 11X price in India (Expected)

Since the Mi 11X is a rebadged Redmi K40/ POCO F3, we can expect the India pricing to be close to China. The Redmi K40 starts at CNY 1,999 (roughly Rs 22,460) for the 6GB RAM + 128GB storage. The 8GB RAM + 128GB storage and 8GB RAM + 256GB storage versions are available at CNY 2,199 (roughly Rs 24,710) and CNY 2,499 (roughly Rs 28,090), respectively.

Xiaomi Mi 11X specifications 

The premium smartphone features a 6.67-inch AMOLED display with a 1,300 nits peak brightness. It comes with a 120Hz refresh rate and a 360Hz touch sampling rate. The screen has a tiny hole-punch camera cutout for the 20MP selfie sensor. On the back, the device has a triple-camera setup. It has a 48MP AI primary camera, an 8MP ultrawide sensor and a 5MP tele-macro lens. 

Under the hood, the phone draws power from a Qualcomm Snapdragon 870 5G chipset. It comes with up to 8GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage. The device packs a 4,520 mAh battery. It supports 33W fast charging.  

The device runs Android 11-based MIUI 12 out of the box.

Other specifications include 5G support, 4G VoLTE, side-mounted fingerprint scanner, dual speaker setup with Dolby Atmos surround sound, Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.2, etc.
